Speaker 1:

I'm so excited I'm going to get to see some friends today. Happy Saturday. This is Faith Fuel, and I hope this message is reaching you and you're in a good mood and all things are actually working out for you good, or at least you're seeing it play out. So I want to share the scripture that I've kind of been in for a few weeks, really for the month of July, yeah, for the month of July, and I think it's going to help you and and then I'm going to just say some encouraging words, if you let me, and then we're going to bounce, okay, because we're going to go, go and enjoy this awesome weather. Um, all right.

Speaker 1:

So this is jeremiah 30. This is verses 19 through 21, and I believe I shared this with some of my friends earlier this month. But y'all, I have been loving this for myself and I've been applying these principles in my life. I love Jeremiah as a prophet, I love the heart of Jeremiah and all the things. So, anyway, jeremiah 30. Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving and the voices of those who celebrate. I've really been thanking God out of my mouth, you know, thanking him, being more intentional about thanking him when I wake up, being more intentional about declaring thanksgiving over everything, celebrating the wins, even if it's like a small win or what someone might call a small win. I'm so grateful for each and everything you know. What's happened is I've actually witnessed this as I've been doing this this month where it says I will multiply them and they shall not be few. I will make them honored and they shall not be small.

Speaker 1:

Now, the first time I read this, I thought, okay, he's talking about the people, but what ended up happening for me is my words of thanksgiving. They started to multiply, meaning there started to be more and more evidence of things for me to be grateful for. I started to see more. I started to see the Lord move more and opportunities and situations and all the things they increased and I had the opportunity to be thankful. So, songs of thanksgiving and even raising my voice this month, the action doing that y'all multiplied itself in opportunities that I saw Like I hope it makes sense to y'all because basically, I was giving thanksgiving, waking up, thanking him again, even for the small things, and the more thankful and grateful I was, the more the Lord started giving me opportunities in the natural to thank him, for some things started happening around me for me to be thankful for. Okay, I hope that makes sense.

Speaker 1:

And then it says in verse 20, their children shall be as they were of old, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all who oppress them. Now, that part the children shall be as they were of old was curious to me. So again I asked like please show me, give me wisdom, so I know what you're saying. Okay, as they were of old. I witnessed this over this month of July and my daughter's um, her home, her joy and happiness itself increased. She looks different, the countenance upon her is different. Now she's still a teenager y'all. Okay, I'm not saying she's perfect, don't hear what I'm not saying. Okay, because we still we still gotta keep in check. But but I've watched his favor fall on her and her respond. I'm standing next to her in church in the grown-up service and she's taking notes and she's praising and singing from her heart. Things have changed and so their children will be as they were of old. It reminds me so much of a place of joy where she used to be and that she's finding all that. I just love that.

Speaker 1:

So their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish those who oppress them, that's, who come for y'all. He's punishing those who come for us, and I'm watching that happen as well. I told you before we don't have to fight these spiritual wars. That's not our job, that's the Holy Spirit's job and I'm not getting in it. Okay. But that also means that you're held accountable for the things that you do. So it's not that God. Again, please stop playing with this thing about touching up my anointed because you don't know who's anointed. Just because someone's in the pastor pulpit, just because someone has on a, a title, just because someone has a lot of money, does not mean they're actually anointed.

Speaker 1:

Some people are just um, great speakers. You might mess around and offend the person, uh, who is the greeter at walmart, not realizing that that person has more anointing than you. So you've got to be careful, because the Lord will punish those who will oppress, oppress right, apply a ridiculous amount of mental, of mental pressure, or causes things to happen against you, those who oppress you. And so I watched this month, just had to step back and let him play things out. I don't have to say nothing and the Lord let things play out. But again, it was a reminder that I also had to make sure that I wasn't the oppressor of others. Okay, so that's that, verse 21,. You might have to go back and like replay what I'm saying, because I feel like I'm rambling, but in my heart I feel like I'm telling you what's up. So maybe, maybe, okay, their prince shall be one of themselves. Their ruler shall come out from the midst.

Speaker 1:

Now we know that this is essentially talking more about, and projecting about, jesus, but I asked the Lord to apply it to my life, like today. What does this mean for me today? And so, when I think about royalty and legacy, when I think about you know how we talk about, when we talk about legacy, especially in our families. You might have maybe it was your grandma, your auntie, your uncle, your grandfather, whoever it is, but you have, all of us have people in our family who've left some kind of legacy behind. It might be be, maybe you don't know it because you're not connected to it. Maybe you don't know the history of your family. But let me tell you something people who look like us, we come from good stock. Okay, and I started to understand that there was a continuation in the legacy that my parents left that I'm actually carrying forward and then watching my daughter then pick that thing up and go even further than me.

Speaker 1:

So for this, no, it's not that Jesus is coming out of my family. What it's saying, though, what he showed me was that he was using in my family, out of my womb, out of my belly, out of where I came. He was reminding me of where I came from, the stock that I came from, why it was important for him, the Lord, to show me and remind me that I am valued and treasured in his sight. Now, I'm saying this because I want you to be reminded of this. I'm not just saying it for myself, right? Okay, that you are valued and treasured in his sight, and you might be around people who make you feel like you're not, you're nothing, you ain't going to be nothing, whatever. Listen, I tell people all the time you will never be able to judge me. If you can't meet me where I am, if you have not accomplished a measure of what I've accomplished, you can't give me advice. Okay, they're all the things, but you, we have got to stop listening to people who, who, um, who treat us like you know, we're not all that, because we're not wearing the things. We don't drive the right car, we don't go to the right school. We've got to come out of that Y'all you are, you have to, you have to, um, you have to ask the Lord, remind you of your legacy and and the things, the gifts, the talents that he's put in our bellies for generations. Listen, y'all come on. All right anyway. Um, so it also ends with I'll make him draw near and he shall approach me.

Speaker 1:

So this was also something for me. I was crying out, I felt like I was sharing, I think, last monday's teaching. I felt like the Lord is, like he, like the Holy Spirit, let go of my hand. I've he's more like a, like a father figure for me at times and I felt like he'd let go of my hand and I had to go, like do some things on my own. Like you know how you pray for things which you actually have to do the thing. Well, I was in the you gotta go do the thing, and while he was giving me wisdom and encouragement and favor and so much grace to get the thing done this part I love like I will make him draw near and he shall approach me. I felt like I was being encouraged to approach the Lord. There wasn't a break in the relationship I was being led to even draw closer in a different way. And it says for who would dare himself to approach me, declares the lord. Now, what I also um, what I also love about this, is that um, this.

Speaker 1:

There's another verse I can't think of it right now that talks about um and I think actually I take that back. That's not true. Jeremiah 30, 19 through 21, I believe. If you go into the message, I think it's the message bible. I'm not, you know, that's my. But if you go into the message, I think it's the message Bible. I'm not, you know. But if you go into the message Bible, you'll get a different interpretation. It talks about things getting better and better, I believe. Don't want me to die. I'm not quite sure, I can't remember. However, I want you to, I want you to think about that.

Speaker 1:

But for me there are key points out of this thing. The first one is songs of Thanksgiving and the first one is songs of thanksgiving, and the more grateful and thankful I became and I opened my mouth and I was saying those things as my prayer, the more opportunities I was getting for things to be thankful for. So the Lord was multiplying blessings on blessings, favor on favor, wisdom on wisdom and all the things, okay. The second point I wanted to say was about the children and our legacy and being honored and being valued y'all. And again, some of us need to remember that we come from good stock. Stop listening to people. Okay, we come from great stock. Okay, we have a sense of pride about that and we think about the legacy that we're building and leaving behind y'all and be proud of that. And the last thing is that he is calling us to draw nearer to him, nearer to the Lord.

Speaker 1:

Nearer to the Lord doesn't necessarily mean you're going to pay for a conference. Nearer to the Lord doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to, you know, play church, right, it's not a title, it's not that. Nearer to the Lord means that you're spending time, but you're also on the receiving end. You're listening, you're meditating and all the things. I hope, again, this helped you. I hope this blessed you, encouraged you, for those of y'all who just need just a little bit of encouragement today you're rocking it. You're doing such a great job. Keep going, don't stop, keep going.

Speaker 1:

Listen again, if you're out there, you're a builder, right, you're building a business. You're building a thing. You're writing a book. You're doing something different that no one else around you has done. Keep going. Don't let naysayers, don't let people who have no no, listen to me. Don't let people who ain't done nothing tell you you can't do nothing. Okay, don't do it. Don't do that.

Speaker 1:

A lot of us have, uh, have been graced to be. Uh, I was we're using the. We're using this term. On my day job this week, I was telling my team that we are architects and we are builders. That means that we are also visionaries. We're doing things that other people, other teams, other functions, other departments have never done.

Speaker 1:

So if you're doing this thing something that the Lord put on your heart, that the people around you have never done you seek out the people who have done it, who have a record of success, and that's who you kind of. You don't copy paste, but you can. You know, maybe that's who you look to for inspiration, okay, but don't allow people who have not had any measure of success just come and you know, tell you everything is going. You know all the, all the things. I'm just going to say that, because there's so many of you are so talented. You've been writing the same book for five years, sis. You can write that book in six months.

Speaker 1:

Like, what are you waiting for? Come on? And this has nothing to do with the Lord, you know. This has nothing to do with anything demonic coming for you. This has nothing to do with you being under spiritual attack. This has got to do with your discipline and not carrying through, not following through, not setting time apart to put pen to paper or keyboard to laptop, whatever you call it. Okay, you got to do this thing. Do not end this year 2025, not completing what you started. Okay, please don't do that. We don't want to miss the opportunity.

Speaker 1:

So I love you, lord. I just thank you for every person on the side of my voice that they'll be blessed and encouraged by your word and let them see you today. Thank you, lord, for this amazing Saturday. I'm so excited, lord, for another day. Thank you, god, for all the blessings in every person under my breath, that they will come to see you and that they'll be blessed, that they'll be filled with encouragement, they'll feel excited again about the journey, and that even those who have suffered along the way through different losses this week Maybe it's a health, a finance or a job or anything that has lost, even those who are in mourning. Lord, that you'll bless them today and that you'll give them hope and that they will feel your love. Amen, all right, y'all. I love you. Jesus loves you more. I'm about to get ready to go see my friends. I'm going like this too. I'm gonna go like this yes, I'm ready, I'm excited, all right.
