The Lord establishes the work of our hands even when we can't feel His presence.

Shelley Jeffcoat Season 4 Episode 149

When God lets go of your hand, it's not abandonment but preparation for your next spiritual phase. He's given all the instructions and guidance needed, and now it's time to exercise faith even when His presence feels less tangible.

• God sometimes releases our hand to develop our spiritual muscles
• Discipline feels painful in the moment but yields righteousness to those trained by it
• The Lord establishes the work of our hands through His favor
• We need the tongue of those who are taught to sustain the weary
• Cutting back on social media consumption can restore spiritual clarity
• Our testimony comes through how we live, not just what we say
• God's favor makes our path and purpose unshakeable
• Training comes through everyday application of God's wisdom
• This season requires character building more than spiritual experiences
• Our homes should be portals for God's presence to come and go

This is a week where we'll witness miracle after miracle and encounter after encounter. Heaven will be busy this week, stepping into our homes, blessing our doors, windows and every corner.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, thank you. There's a war going on in the atmosphere right now. Somebody take me to that place. I'm trying to get your mind back. I'm trying to get your mind back. There's a war going on. Oh my God. Thank you, amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

I think I'm gonna start just a couple minutes early because there's no song. I have that last two minutes, so I'm gonna go ahead and just say good morning y'all. Good morning to those, or good afternoon or good evening to those who are gonna watch, um, us on replay, um, so shout out to those who watch us on facebook, good morning to those who are going to pick us up on um youtube and just wherever you are. I'm so grateful that we have y'all we've come into. Is it the last week of july? Hold on, let me look at my calendar real quick. Oh, it's almost the last week of july. I'm counting down through july and July and I'm excited about what this week has to offer.

Speaker 1:

So this one is going to feel like a ripcord short one, because I want to jump right into scripture and I want to say a couple of things before we do this y'all, because I feel like this past weekend and I've had like very little sleep last night, but this past weekend I was in such a mood. I just felt like um, like where are you, holy spirit? I don't know if, I don't know if you go through these phases where you just feel like there's a, there's distance and I, I am so, um, I'm very, I'm hyper aware. Probably this is not part, probably not a good thing, but I'm hyper aware of his presence when he's like fully activated in me. And then I'm also hyper aware when, um, when he's not as like a thousand percent you know what I'm saying Like I, I.

Speaker 1:

There's some times where I feel like, um, this is just my, this is just my, uh, this is just my journey. Okay, there's some times when I just feel like it's me and the Lord Jesus and the Holy spirit is like holding my hand, like a father or like an older brother, if you will, don't get offended, all right, but he's holding my hand and I'm a little kid, I'm a little girl, and he's kind of walking me, marching me through things, walking me through crowds, through situations, through thoughts, just like holding my hand. And then there are times when he lets go of my hand, and it doesn't mean that he's not carrying me through something. It's just he's let go of my hand and now it's up to me to put my foot forward. And it's scary. I don't like it. I don't like it at all. And so I felt this weekend like I'm in a weird season where he's let go of my hand, he's given me all of the instructions and guidance that I need. He's given me courage, his strength, his favor, even though things are like fuzzy, like I don't have the answers to everything. Nobody has the answers to everything. But I felt like he's let go of my hand and now he's like okay, now you go. And when I put my foot one in front of the other, it's doing it firmly, believing that he's still like. He's still like right here, he hasn't left me. He's like right, he's on my right side, my left side. He's even standing behind me.

Speaker 1:

The word talks about goodness and mercy following me. I feel that in my life, but there are times when, just for me, it feels like he's let go of my hand, and this is where we have to rely on the word. Sometimes the Lord puts a word in your heart, in your spirit, but you're expected to do something with the word. You're expected to act on it right. He might have given you a great idea, he might have given you guidance, y'all. He might have told us what to do, what not to do, what to do, what not to do, and then he lets go of our hand. And letting go of our hand doesn't mean he's let go of us. All it means is that now we have to do. We have to do the work. This is a journey.

Speaker 1:

This relationship we have with this awesome lord jesus goes both ways. There's sometimes when he's, you know, I mean, I'm so engulfed. I try not to do this, I try not to like. I call it like going up on the mountain with the Lord and I will just pull myself away from everything and everyone and I want to just sit in his presence and soak in everything, and I don't want to come back, you know. But there are times like this where the Lord is like it's like you've been on a training wheel, like I don't listen, I don't, I don't, I'm not, I don't know who experiences these, the, the, their walk um in the same way, or or have gone through something similar.

Speaker 1:

But I've been praying for the last couple of weeks for the Lord to tear down walls, and we've been doing that consistently through praise and prayer. And I've watched him as we have torn down emotional walls, spiritual walls, physical walls, financial walls. I've watched him spring up because we were obedient in doing that. I'm watching him spring up things in other people, watching other ministries blossom and bloom up things in other people, watching other ministries blossom and bloom, watching the women around me grow and become empowered and filled with courage. Watch them not only speak love but receive it, like I'm watching the Lord tear down walls in other people.

Speaker 1:

And it's a scary thing. Y'all we're doing new things. We're being challenged to keep going the dreams that we have. They didn't die. Some of us just didn't bother watering the seeds God planted in us, or we wanted somebody else to do it, or we wanted the plant to look a certain way before we believe in it. Right.

Speaker 1:

And yet here's this week that we're entering into, where, again, you might feel like he's let go of your hand, but the truth is he's still with us. And so the scriptures that we're going to go into today, they're going to do three things. Three things we're going to do, right. The first one I've got some words bolded. The first one is discipline. The second one is established and the third one has to do with our mouth and our ears. All right, because we still want to speak with wisdom and want to hear in the same way we're taught.

Speaker 1:

So, father, before we even go further, I just thank you for awakening us this morning. For those who feel like you've kind of let go of our hands and we know that doesn't mean that you've left us we know that there's nowhere that we could go, that we will be without you. But for those of us that you have taken off the training wheels, lord God, and you've shifted us, we've been asking for promotion and expansion and we want more and we want blessings and we want to break curses and all the things, lord God. And yet you have been doing that, you've been preparing us for this amazing journey, for this season that we're in. So I even ask, lord God, that as we're entering into this new phase of our walk with you, as we're building up our relationship with you, my desire is to have more and more of you, more encounters with you, to hear from you, Lord God, that as we're making decisions, that you'll give us the wisdom to make the right call, the right decision, not just for ourselves, but our family, our children, our spouses, our partners, even the folks we work with. Lord God, we desire you more than anything this morning and I ask for God that you know, for those of us who are growing and expanding, as you're speaking to our hearts and you're giving us, even bringing the joy back, lord, I ask that you'll bless us and lead us. Father, forgive us for anything we have said or done, anything that was impure, any thoughts, any dreams, anything, lord God, that we've touched, anything, any doors we have opened that were never meant to be, any agreements we came in with anyone. Lord God, that you'll shut now anything that we have caused, any ripple effect that we have caused because of the words that we've used. Lord God, that you'll shut it down. We want to start afresh and anew this morning, this Monday morning, lord God, and as we go forth into this week, lord God, that this week that you'll show us, in every area of our life, what we need to do and bless us and give us your favor, as you always do. Amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

Three scriptures, very, very simple. The first one is around discipline, and discipline. Remember is our word for this year and if you have been consistent. If you've been consistent, there should have been some changes in your life by now. Right here, we are almost at the end of July, so there should have been some changes in your life for the better. Hebrews 12, 11 says for the moment, all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later, y'all, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Speaker 1:

So discipline, there's a measure of training that comes with it. Right, we can't just be like, well, I'm going to be disciplined in exercise. Well, there's a, there's a okay, that's, that's great. But there's something that you have to do. There's a training involved. And how do we know this? Well, we know that when we say we want to be disciplined in our exercise, a lot of us will go to. Maybe you'll go to a final old video, maybe you'll join a gym, maybe you'll, you know, but you would have. Maybe you talk to your friends who have already done it, people who could give you advice on how to build up a training that works for you. So there's some level of training or guidance that comes with that. And it might seem painful when you're working out or you're cutting off the you know, the sweet and the snacks and all the things that you know you need to do it in order to have that level of discipline. But but we know that it's going to give you the peaceful fruit. Right, there is a fruit that comes with it at the end of this training, right, so it is when we're having discipline in our uh, in a walk with the lord, or the way that we discipline, we know again, we discipline our children and we know that's going to yield a peaceful fruit. We know that if we discipline the way that we speak, where we go, who we have friendships with, all the things that we have discipline and how much time we spend on social media.

Speaker 1:

I was thinking about this yesterday that I've had to just kind of cut back even on my social media intake, because on social media, especially on TikTok and Facebook facebook people give you two categories of content. You either get the best of things or you get the absolute worst of things. It's very rare that you get something that's in the middle. People are either celebrating or they're denigrating, because that gets views right, and in the middle they sell you stuff right. So if you are on social media and you're becoming consumed by it where all you're seeing are things that are fed to you based on your own thoughts, your own desires. Right, you start to believe everything. If you're on social media and you over consume, you really start to believe one that body oil is going to save your life, right? Or everybody goes to abu dhabi. You might believe that everybody's going on vacation to europe. Like. You're gonna believe the best of what people show you, the best of best, right, um? Or the worst of worst. You're gonna start seeing all these fights and it starts to feed your mind. You start really thinking that the only people that fight are black people, right, because that's what's on social media and it will keep getting you. You'll start to your mind, will start to be trained, your thoughts will start to go a certain way, your attitude changes. So you have to have a measure of discipline. So, so, um, again, and it might be painful for you to come off that thing, right, but again, peaceful fruit, peaceful fruit, and you've got to be trained by it. So the first prayer point is discipline. The second one I'm going to do like one whole prayer and y'all pray along whatever the Lord is showing you and including people he puts. Don't wait for me to pray for someone. You have that you can do the same.

Speaker 1:

Psalm 90, verse 17 let the favor of the lord, our god, be upon us and establish the work of our hands. It says, yes, establish the work of his hands. What does it mean? When my hands established on something, nothing is going to move it right. When god's favor is upon me, I don't care, care what scheme, I don't care how, I don't care who said what. I don't care about none of that. It is established. The Lord's work is established. I don't care about competition, I don't care what I'm saying, none of that stuff matters. So when we know that the work of our hands is established, we don't have to worry about what so-and-so said and what so-and-so is trying to do, and we don't care about any of that because it's established. We have the favor of the Lord and it's upon us, like it's on us y'all, and his favor establishes the work of our hands. It's his favor, amen. And Isaiah 50, verse 4,.

Speaker 1:

Now it says the Lord has given me what? The tongue of those who are taught, the tongue of those who are taught, and by him. We want him to teach us. But also, the Lord will send you mentors or friends or coaches or folks who have wisdom right. So I want to have the tongue of those who are taught, so that when I speak, my words are wise, right. It says that I may know how to sustain with a word him who is weary. So it's not just speaking right, it's not just saying stuff, it's how do I sustain my family, my daughter, my husband, my friends, how do I sustain people who are weary? Again, it's one thing to know scripture. I say this all the time it's one thing to know scripture. It's one thing to be baptized, it's one thing to call yourself a Christian. But if the life you're living, y'all, when you close, when you close your Bible, or when you come out of your church and you're in your parking lot, that's when the life actually begins right, it's literally, it's how we live out this life. And so if you're seeking God's deep mysteries and you wanna know about heaven and the second heaven, you wanna know about angels, you wanna know all those things, and you're asking for wisdom so that, so again, the tongue of those who are taught. Are you doing it so that you can sustain those who are weary? Are you doing it so that you can sustain those who are weary. Are you doing it so that you can puff yourself up?

Speaker 1:

Morning by morning, he awakens. He awakens my ear to hear. Right, he has to wake up my ear to hear, as those who are taught. So, every single day. We're asking him this week Lord, awaken my ear to hear. You Give me wisdom. Right, I want the tongue of those who are taught. Lord, give me that. Amen. Discipline establishing us the tongue of those who are taught and awakening our ears to hear.

Speaker 1:

Those are the four points that we're going to pray over this morning and, if you're in agreement, you can pray along with me. If there's something else the Lord has put on your heart, you go ahead and do that. So, heavenly Father, we thank you for your holy presence. I thank you, holy Spirit, for just reminding us of who you are and the power that you have, the amazing power that you have. That's what we're tapping into this morning.

Speaker 1:

It's not that we're asking for power for ourselves. What we're asking for is an acknowledgement of your presence in our hearts and our lives, and we thank you, lord Jesus, for all that you have already done. You've already broken down every single spiritual wall there is, you've already fought every battle and every single victory, as the song says, has been won. So I thank you, lord God, that you have already gone ahead into this week and you have already declared victory over each and every one of us. So now, as we approach your holy throne, we ask for God first, that you will forgive us for our sins, and we repent for every thought and deed, every action, anything that we would say. Even after we leave this prayer this morning, lord God, as we go into the day, we know that we are sinners or God. So even as we leave this prayer, lord god, even this afternoon, I ask that you'll forgive us for what is to come, what we will do, and we thank you, lord god, that you're such a grateful father, gracious father. We thank you, we're grateful for you, we're grateful for you, we thank you, lord. So, lord, we first, we thank you for discipline. We thank you, lord god, that that this keeps us on track so that we can accomplish the great things that you have marked out for each and every one of us.

Speaker 1:

Father, the road has been so rocky for so many, lord God, but, lord, I ask that you will reframe the situation today. Lord God, show us how to apply discipline in everything that we say or do, any place that we go, any person that we speak to. How do we use your wisdom to make wise decision? Your wisdom, lord, we want to tap into you, lord God. We want to build ourselves up, lord God, so that we can accomplish the very task that you've set us out to do, but we need discipline. We need discipline so that we can continue to have a personal, one-on-one relationship with you, lord God, not just waiting until something is wrong, but, lord, coming to you every single day, every moment of the day, with every breath that we take.

Speaker 1:

Lord God, we glorify you and we honor you as our creator and we thank you, father God, for giving us guidance. I thank you, lord God, for the doors that you have closed and the ones that you have opened. I thank you, lord God, for the doors that you have closed and the ones that you have opened. Father, thank you for giving us wisdom and the keys, lord God, so that we know where to go, who to speak to. Today, I call down favor on every single one of us, lord God, in every conversation, every meeting, in every encounter, that your supernatural favor will be upon us, lord, god, lord God, we thank you that you will speak to each of us and establish the hands, the work of our hands, everything that we touch, anything that we need to do today, lord, god, that will take us to the next level that we're trying to get to, whether that is promotion, whether that's acceleration, whatever it is that we're hoping to do, everything that we touch is established because of your favor upon us that you will establish our works, that no one can steal our ideas and no one can steal our identities. No one can take us off this path, no one, not even ourselves. And when the thoughts of doubt or God or anything like that, any words or anything that was planted by someone before, when it shows up to try to take us off track, it will be destroyed. In the name of Jesus, lord, we ask for this. We thank you, lord, god, we are carrying your banner when people see us. We want them to see you.

Speaker 1:

Establish our hands on our jobs. Establish our hands in our businesses. Establish our hands as we serve our churches and as non-profits, as volunteers. Establish our hands as wives serve our churches and as non-profits, as volunteers. Establish our hands as wives and mothers, aunties and uncles. Establish our hands as godparents and cousins. Establish our hands for those who are in ministry, regardless of what size, whether the ministry you gave them, lord God, was 10 people, one person. Establish our hands as your children, lord God. So everything we touch today will blossom and there will be victory in it. It'll be so easy, lord God, because it's you doing the work.

Speaker 1:

Oh God, give us your glory.

Speaker 1:

Let us carry your glory in our bellies today, so that when people see us, they know whose we are, that we will be untouched this week. Anyone within our circle, anyone who is aligned to us. Lord God, that they will come to see the goodness of God today in the land of the living. Lord God, I pray that you will open heaven towards every single person and incline your ears to us, hear our cries, oh merciful Father. Father, we ask that you establish us today. No man can take us off where you have placed us. No lies, no hypocrisy, nothing.

Speaker 1:

We thank you that we serve a mighty, big God. We serve the God of all creation, heavens and earth. Oh God, we thank you that you are the one that we serve. Therefore, we have nothing to fear. We thank you that you have released angels, according to your will and your might for us, lord God, to minister unto us and to deliver unto us. Everything that you say is ours. We thank you for your grace, lord God, that falls upon us so that we will be established that your name goes before ours, lord God, that when people hear our names, it is attached to heaven, it's attached to you, holy Spirit. Thank you, lord God.

Speaker 1:

We will not be separated from you in this season, in this week of July, that you'll continue to tear down the walls in our minds so that we can see, lord God, where you are sending us, even using our dreams and our imaginations. Lord God, speak to us, lord God, and establish the works of our hands. Father, put in our hands everything that we need, lord God, lord God, everything that we need. I pray that anything that we touch or make or produce or create, as we do it to glorify you, so will we be blessed, and not only will we be blessed, it to glorify you, so will we be blessed, and not only will we be blessed, but you'll bless us and our, our children and generations to come. I thank you, lord god, that what we are building, what we are doing, lord god, with our mouths and our eyes and our hands and our feet. You know, and everything, every gift and talent that you have given us will glorify you, and that you, in turn, will bless us. Bless us beyond measure, bless us in such ways that we will never understand why, so that you, in turn, will bless us. Bless us beyond measure, bless us in such ways that we will never understand why, so that you get the glory. Lord God, bless us even beyond our own capacity to understand. Lord God, establish us this day. Lord God, let no lie or nothing evil, not even anything from their past, lord God, If there's anything that the enemy has been holding over their head from their past, lord God, that that is shut down now, in the name of Jesus, and that you will give them freedom, freedom we have in you, christ. So we ask that you will give them freedom, even giving them that sense of peace that comes with that. Lord God, thank you for establishing us and planting our feet on firm ground. You are our foundation. Thank you, lord God. Thank you, jesus and Father.

Speaker 1:

I ask for the tongue of those who are taught. The tongue of those who are taught as you continue to speak to us and teach us. We are humble and we want to hear from heaven. We want to hear from you. I thank you, lord God. I know that you will even send your word through those who people might think are enemies to us. Father, I thank you that you will send even those who have been seeking out to do us wrong, our children or our husbands or any members of our family, lord God, those who have been seeking out to do us wrong or harm through jealousy, lord God, those who have been trying to do us harm, even forming their own incantations and speaking against us, lord God, lord God, I ask that you will even turn our enemies into our advocates this morning, that they won't even know that they're being used in that way, that you will destroy every evil tongue that has spoken against anyone under the sound of my voice. Lord God, that anything that has been attached to their families for generations, that it is broken.

Speaker 1:

In the name of Jesus Christ, we are not cursed. We are blessed, we are favored, we have been marked by you. So, father God, give us the tongue of those who have been taught by you, those who are being guided by you, those who are being led by you. Let us speak, lord God, only when you tell us to speak, lord God, so that we speak with wisdom and authority. Thank you, god, so that when we speak and destroy a thing in the spirit, in alignment with you, holy Spirit, so is it done in the natural, in the spirit and in the natural.

Speaker 1:

Lord God, father, I ask that you will even open up our ears to hear you. We want to hear your voice in the middle of this wilderness, lord God, in the middle of this season, Lord God, in the middle of chaos, lord God, in the middle of uncertainty, lord God, in the middle of fear, in the middle of hate, in the middle of racism, in the middle of all of these things, lord God, we want to have ears that hear your voice. Help us, lord God, and give us courage this season to speak. When you want us to speak, we don't have to rely on a pastor, we don't have to rely on your prophet, we don't have to rely on apostles. Each and every one of us have been anointed by you, holy Spirit.

Speaker 1:

When you say go ye, therefore, and so therefore, lord God, I ask that you'll wake us up and remind us that we don't have to wait for a title, lord God, that this is the season we've been called into. We don't have to build our own mini ministries. We just have to serve you and go where you send us, and if you send us to one person and that one person, lord God, might be considered someone who's against us that you'll give us the wisdom and the words to speak, even showing up, lord God, father, I thank you for those who just have a boring, mundane life. Oh God, we thank you for boring and we thank you for mundane because we know that's a mark of peace. So I thank you for those who are just living peaceful lives, who are just going about their every day, that you're waking them up in the morning, you're blessing them to go out into the field, lord God, to work, lord God, whatever assignment you have given them, whether they're in a job or they're running a business or they're building a business, lord God, as we are waiting to hear word for those who are still looking for employment, lord God, that you're shifting things in their minds, lord God, so when they move into that next job, they won't lose themselves.

Speaker 1:

Father, I thank you that this is a character-building season that we're in, that we don't just call ourselves Christians, we don't just call ourselves highly favored, but you're shaping our character. You're shaping us as leaders in our own household. Father, I thank you that this is a season that we are to model who we should be in front of our children and yay, even in front of our spouses. So many of us have taken that title as being a Christian, but we've walked so far away from you, lord God, and we've walked so far away from our desire of you, lord God. So, father, today we want to delight in you, we want to commit all of our works back to you, we want to give you honor and praise and we want to see you work this week, father, let us not be put to shame before our enemies. Fight for us as only you can, in the name of Jesus. Fight for us and send those that you have marked for us for God.

Speaker 1:

Lord, you have established us and you have given us your high favor. You've given us your face this morning and I thank you, father, for hearing our prayer. All of these things I ask because of your son, jesus, because it was sealed, because of his sacrifice. I thank you, holy Spirit, for reminding us of your power. Everything that we need is in you, and so we're asking you to pour out yourself among us today, lord God, and wake us up, those who have fallen asleep. Lord God, bless us this day, lord God. Thank you, father, for all that you have done. Thank you for this amazing week.

Speaker 1:

Lord God, thank you, father, for all that you have done. Thank you for this amazing week. Lord God, thank you for blessing on blessing seven times seven. Lord God, thank you for opening doors that we had never imagined. Thank you for the meetings that we're going to have, every single one of them, lord God, and give us wisdom as we go into these meetings and these conversations. Oh, I thank you, lord God, that this is a week that we will see your greatness, lord God, and even though you might have let go of our hand and taken off the training wheel, because it is time for us to move up, to step into this grace and to step into the work that you've called us to do, that we know that you haven't left us a bit. You are still with us. You're to the right and to the left, you've even gone ahead of us. Oh God, you're still behind us, you're still with us, that there's nothing we could do or nowhere we could go, where you have left us alone. We love you, holy Spirit. Thank you for your grace, thank you for your love, Thank you for everything that you have done. I thank you for the angels that you've put around us, those who have been sent to fight for us and our children, and our spouses and our partners, those who are marking our homes as we speak. Each of us are homes, a portal open to heaven. Come and go as you please. I thank you, lord Jesus, that you'll deliver unto us and minister each of us what we need for this moment. Thank you, lord, for your grace. Amen, amen, amen, amen. All right, y'all, we go straight into declaration invitation, thanksgiving, and then we wrap it for the morning. Amen.

Speaker 1:

I declare this day that no weapon formed against me can prosper because I am the righteousness of God. Favor surrounds me as a shield, divine protection surrounds me as a shield. I am therefore in the right place at the right time. I cannot be defeated or destroyed and, in fact, every tongue that accuses me and every tongue that attacks me, I condemn with my words. That's why you gotta be careful what you say, father, thank you. This is my heritage, this is my right as a child of God. I am made in his image, made with his dominion and authority living in me, coming forth out of my spirit. Through my words, I declare today that Satan has no power over my life, that every weapon he has has been defeated, that fear is cast out, that love makes my faith work and therefore I cannot fail. God's word cannot fail and that's what I made. His word. I made in his image, after his likeness, with the power of you, the Holy Spirit, and the authority of your words. Therefore, by the blood of Jesus, I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I say of the Lord. Lord, you are my refuge and my fortress, my God, and you I will trust. Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

And just a point, if you agree with me, just say amen at the end of this, whether you want to be born again, if you just want to reaffirm your relationship this week with our Lord and Savior, jesus Christ. Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God that you died on the cross to rescue me, all of us, from sin and death and to restore all of us to the Father. And we choose to turn now from our sins, our self-centeredness and every part of our lives that does not please you. We're choosing you and we're giving ourselves over to you. We receive your forgiveness and ask you to take your rightful place in our lives as our Savior and as our Lord, reign in our hearts and fill us with your love and your life and your light and restore us, jesus. Thank you, father. In Jesus' name I pray. If you agree, you just say amen, amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

So y'all, we're just gonna take a few minutes just to thank God for all it says. Give thanks in all circumstances, because this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. And yes, it is hard to give thanks when you're in the middle of a circumstance that's maybe not the circumstance you hope for, right. Death isn't something that we hope for. Debt D-E-B-T isn't something that we hope for. You know, health issues isn't something that we hope for. Working with crazy people on the job isn't something that we hope for. Having unrest in your home or unrest in your finances being broke isn't something that we hope for, right? None of these things. Your car falling apart? None of these things right. These are things that we hope for.

Speaker 1:

And yet when the scripture says, give thanks, we're thanking him. It's not just thanking him blindly, right? It's not Pollyanna Jesus, where we just say thank you and we look away when everything's falling apart. We're thanking him because we know that he has a way out for us. We're thanking him because we know that he's still a God that provides that you might be broke today, but there's a check coming tomorrow. That you might not have a job today, but there's an offer coming tomorrow. That you might have poor health issues today, but there's healing coming tomorrow. That even in death, when he's removed people from our lives and called us home, we're to celebrate the lives that we had with those folks and move on.

Speaker 1:

Y'all Amen, even with our children, whether they're adult or young. That if they're not listening to you right now, it doesn't mean you start becoming judgmental and mean and all the things right, things right. No, we still thank god because he gave us those children right. He gave us those blessings. If you're, if you're on a job and and things are kind of out of whack and you don't know what's going on and people are fighting for all the things are happening right now, but we're still thanking him for the opportunity to show up and be a witness on that job.

Speaker 1:

We don't have to be a part of the chaos. We are peace peacemakers right. So we give thanks in every single circumstances. It's the will of God in Christ, because that puts in our heart. We can be grateful. We can look forward to the good things that's coming. You know better and better is coming for me.

Speaker 1:

I don't know about you. All things are working together for my good. I don't know about you. I'm just telling you what's in the scripture, right. That's why you got to do more than just read the word. You got to live it, you got to believe it, you got to stand on it. So we give you thanks in every circumstance.

Speaker 1:

Lord, god, that's happening under the sign of my breath, for every person represented everything that's happening in their lives. Though we may not understand your timing, though we may not understand what's happening, we do believe that you're the creator of all of everything and that you are still in control. No matter what it looks like, it might look like the enemy's winning, but you have mastermind, a way out. You have mastermind, victory that you have removed people. Right now, and though we suffer and mourn and we are heartbroken, we can still give you thanks for the time that you gave us with them. We bless your holy name and we will not curse your decisions.

Speaker 1:

Lord God, we do not understand what you're doing in every single area of our lives, but we know that that will be done and we give you thanks because for as long as we have breath and as long as we desire and delight in you that you'll continue to pour out your favor on us. We don't know how long we have, lord God, but for the time that we have on this plane, on this planet, I pray that every person who is a believer that they will render themselves up as vessels where you can live with us, that we will be the light, that when we go out, the more we live, the more we witness. We witness to others through the way we live, the way we speak, the way we show up, the places we go, the way that we eat, all of those things. That is a witness of whose we are. So it's not just about showing up on Sunday, it's not just about being a pastor. It's nothing to do with that. It's how we are living out this walk, father, for those who are God.

Speaker 1:

We thank you for that. We thank you for wisdom that you're ushering into us, even wisdom to our children, some of our situations. Our children are wiser than the adults. We thank you for the wisdom. We thank you, lord God, for blessing our children that they are wise, they are smart, they're intelligent, that they know how to work through situations. And for those who are still learning, lord God, I thank you that you're going to continue. They are smart, they're intelligent, that they know how to work through situations. And for those who are still learning, lord God, I thank you that you're going to continue to give them wisdom, that you have never left them, you haven't forsaken them. Our children are still the apple of your eye. They are your beings. You have created them, lord God.

Speaker 1:

So I thank you for our children, I thank you for our friends. I thank you for our children. I thank you for our friends, I thank you for our spouses, I thank you for our colleagues. I thank you for each and every person that you've put along our path, those some who were sent, you know, even out of their own hate, to motivate us to keep moving forward right. We thank you, lord God, for the doors that you have closed because they would have destroyed us. I thank you for the open doors this week and the tremendous amount of wisdom and downloads that we're going to get as we are seating, as we're seated with you in our prayer closets or in our cars or wherever we are, that we'll be consumed with our desire for you and that you will show up Holy Spirit and speak to us in a different way that this week. Lord God, when we finish this week, we'll look back on this one as a mark like look at what God has done. This is a week where we'll witness miracle after miracle and encounter after encounter that heaven will be busy this week.

Speaker 1:

I thank you, god, that you will step into our homes, that you'll bless our homes, our doors, our windows and every corner, father. I thank you that, god, that you will step into our homes, that you'll bless our homes, our doors, our windows and every corner. Father, I thank you that our homes are portals so that you can come and go as you see fit, ministering onto each and every one of us. Thank you for choosing us this morning and speaking to us this morning. Thank you for blessing us. Thank you for watching over us. Thank you for watching over us. Thank you for taking us safely to and from our destinations, whether we're going by cars or buses, or trains or airplanes. As we travel, lord God that you'll take us safely back home or you'll take us to wherever we're going.

Speaker 1:

Lord God, I thank you for those who've been able to spend time with family this weekend, whether it was on a good term or because of a loss. But I ask, lord God, that you'll continue to heal and I ask, lord God, that you'll use every single situation as a way to heal and bring us together. Father, I thank you that you have blessed us to grow this little prayer ministry. Lord God, that you continue to use, come Out of the Wilderness to spark and start ministries everywhere. Lord God, that the more people tap in, the more they come to realize that we're just a fueling station and as they go off to do great and amazing and wonderful things, that you get all the glory and all the honor and all the praise. Thank you, god, for what you have sparked and started in us. Bless us today, lord God. Thank you, father, amen, amen, amen, all right y'all.

Speaker 1:

Benediction, my favorite I think this might be my favorite Numbers 6, 24 to 26. Obviously, the A Shelley Eansby version. The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face to shine upon you. Shine on me, lord, and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you what Give you peace. Amen. Thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord. I'm going to stop sharing. Good morning y'all. I'm going to stop sharing and let me hit.
