Turbulence: The Sign of Your Coming Elevation
Turbulence in life is often a sign of upcoming elevation, not a punishment or attack. Just as airplanes experience shaking during takeoff and rockets burn components during launch, we must undergo necessary changes before reaching new heights in our spiritual journey.
• Three powerful examples illustrate how turbulence precedes elevation: airplanes during takeoff, rockets burning unnecessary components, and Peter walking on water
• Not every uncomfortable situation is spiritual warfare—some things must be removed because they're not needed for your next level
• Focus on your destination rather than the turbulence around you to maintain perspective during challenging times
• The discomfort you feel during elevation is temporary but necessary for reaching your breakthrough
• God has already declared victory and answered your prayers, even when you're still experiencing the turbulence
• You're not alone in your journey—community and prayer support are available during seasons of change
If you're feeling lonely in this season of turbulence, remember you're not alone. I'm praying for every person who watches this video that they will be encouraged, their needs will be met, and they will get everything they're asking for.

Happy Saturday y'all, it's Faith Fuel, and so, for those of you who don't know, I come on and just give really quick teaching and encouragement. I'm trying to fix my phone camera here so y'all can see me, and so I'm glad that we're able to make it to another Saturday. Today's teaching is I think it's going to be good, it's going to be encouraging, and I'm going to title this one Turbulence Comes With Elevation. Encouraging and I'm going to title this one Turbulence Comes With Elevation. Turbulence Comes With Elevation. So, lord, before we even go into this teaching, I pray for every person who is going through a season of turbulence before they are elevated into their next level, their next promotion, their next job, relationship, health, anything. Oh God, that they're going through right now, where they're feeling a lot of turbulence, a lot of shifts and changes, a lot of unrest, and that today you'll encourage us, lord, god, that you are still with us in the midst of any storm, and that this is temporary. So we thank you, lord, for every person who's going to hear this and be blessed today. Amen, all right, turbulence comes with elevation.
Speaker 1:So I want to give you three examples of what I was trying to think about this. You know this morning as I was getting myself together to come on here and share this with y'all and three kind of situations where there's a lot of heavy turbulence. But I think this will make sense. So the first situation is like an airplane taking off. Whenever you get on an airplane I don't really fly as much as I used to anymore, as I used to, but when you go on an airplane there is turbulence right before you know. When you take off it's kind of shaky. Some of y'all grip the seats. You know some of y'all are just calm through it. You know maybe you're praying through it or you're listening to music through it or whatever. But there is a period where you go through turbulence before you go into the elevation before you kind of coast right. The second example I was thinking about is like a rocket ship, when a spaceship, when it takes off and it starts to burn off all the things that are unnecessary for the journey, that there is turbulence before it gets to that elevation.
Speaker 1:And then the third thing I thought about was Jesus walking on water when Jesus was with the disciples. So this is in Matthew 14, 22 to 33, I had to write it down where Peter had to kind of face his fear saw um, jesus, um, walking on the water. It talks about the immediate. It says in 22 immediately he made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side while he dismissed the crowd. So the lord had given them an assignment. You go ahead while I'm doing some things back here and when you go into Matthew, it talks about the fourth watch of the night. He came to them. He's walking on sea and that you know Peter was afraid. You know Peter went out to walk. You know Jesus called him to him and he was scared because he thought it was a ghost. I love this so much, y'all, but Peter started to sink.
Speaker 1:And then there are other stories in the Bible where it shows that there's a period of unrest before you move to the next level. Um, and I want you. This is why I really encourage people to just like get into the word and get, get encouraged by you know what happens. So part of the reason and forgive me for rambling part of the reason I want to share this is because there are a lot of us who have been asking the Lord to elevate us, promote us, do the things. I want to go next level and there is turbulence that happens before you get to your next step. I don't want you to mistake the turbulence that happens for like spiritual warfare, because everything isn't a war. Everything isn't you being under attack.
Speaker 1:There are some things that, in the example of a spaceship taken off that have to be burned off, that you don't need for where you're going and if you're not careful, you'll hold on to the things that you need to let go of so that you can get to your next level right. In the same sense, if you think about an airplane lifting off and I'm talking about turbulence you're already here, you are, you're seated Right, you in the right position, you're in the right seat, you have a destination in mind. You bought that ticket to go to Florida, miami, whatever and the plane is taken off, a turbulence is happening and I want you to focus on where you're going. I want you to focus on the end. You know what did you ask God for? A focus on where you're going and not so much on the turbulence and the shifts and the changes and some of the things that the Lord is going to strip from you that you don't need for this journey. Ask for that I won't break through, I won't blessings. But there's some things that happen in order for you to get to that and I don't want you to miss that.
Speaker 1:This turbulence actually comes with it. It's not that you're cursed because, again, we don't stand under any curses. The Lord said we are blessed, we are blessed people. So that's what we declare for ourselves. We are not cursed and we bind and destroy anything or anyone that comes against that for real. Like we are not cursed, we bind and destroy anything or anyone that comes against that for real. We're not cursed, right.
Speaker 1:But in this period, as you're being elevated, you know what's something else I was just thinking about. It's so uncomfortable, even when you're for me, speaking for myself, when I'm in an airplane taking off, when my ears are popping and I'm trying to chew gum and take Tylenol all at the same time. It's not that it's a comfortable season, but it's a necessary. There's some things that you have to go through. That's necessary in the turbulence. So we recognize it. We understand that we're going to have to burn some things off. We're going to change our mindset, we're going to have to be disciplined. We've got to do some things in order for us to really reach our end game, where we're trying to get to and be elevated in this season.
Speaker 1:So turbulence comes with elevation, all right, I really hope that, blessed y'all. I'm sorry if I'm rambling. I was so excited to tell y'all because as I'm, you know, learning and growing this season, I'm trying to share and be as much as I can vulnerable and share my Christian journey with you. You know we're all in different spaces, places, experiences. We're all looking to achieve maybe different things, right, but at the end of the day, I'm just grateful that God has already answered all of our prayers. He has declared victory for us. I just, really, I just don't want us to miss it, y'all, all right.
Speaker 1:So turbulence comes with elevation. So, lord, I just pray now for every person who is seeking to be elevated that you will give them wisdom to know what to do in this time period. And just in the example that you provided, that there might be physical changes, like with the airplane, with our ears popping, or you burning and removing things off of us, like with a spaceship, when things are burnt up because we can't take that into where we're going. And, lord, even with the courage that Peter had when you called him to you when you walked on water, that we will have that kind of courage as you're calling us onto you to trust you and believe you and depend on you. And we love you, lord Jesus, and we thank you for every person that maybe you give them peace today to just know and just hold on to the dream and the desires that you've answered, you've said yes to, and remind them of where they're going so they don't lose focus and they don't lose discipline in this season. Thank you for all of us, lord, god, thank you for everyone under the sound of my voice, thank you for this community of praying folks, and I thank you for all the love and support.
Speaker 1:I pray for anybody under the sound of my voice who's feeling lonely in this season of turbulence. That you'll just remind them that they're not alone. And thank you, lord, for everything. Amen. Listen, if you feel like you are, sometimes there's some days where I'm like Lord, am I going insane, like is this really happening? But you're not alone. And if you've got nobody else, I'm here for you, absolutely Okay. Just, you just pretend like you know me and we're besties and, um, you know I'm praying for.
Speaker 1:I pray for every person who watches the video or anybody who listens to my voice that they will be encouraged and they will get everything they're asking for. Their needs will be met. So I want you to win. You know, if you win, I win for real, right. All right, so that's what I have for you. Have an amazing Saturday. It's a warm day in Georgia Okay, it's supposed to be hot today, so I hope you'll get time to get some sunshine. If you're watching this in another country and it's already dark and you're like, it's too late for me. I hope you had a great dinner, but that's what I had, all right.
