How to Shift from Lack to Abundance this March
March presents an exciting opportunity to reset our intentions and embrace an abundant mindset. With inspirational insights drawn from Deuteronomy 1:8, we explore what it truly means to take possession of the blessings laid before us while motivating our audience to navigate the shifts from a lack mindset to one rooted in abundance.
In this episode, we delve into the importance of perspective—how beliefs shape our reality and drive our actions. The conversation emphasizes the significance of engaging in personal rituals, like an "everything shower," to cleanse away negativity and invite positivity and growth. It encourages individuals to celebrate the wealth seen in everyday comforts—recognizing that abundance is not solely defined by material possessions.
Listeners will be inspired to cultivate gratitude through intentional giving this month, reflecting on the profound legacy of philanthropy within families and communities. The episode underscores that giving without the expectation of return strengthens community bonds and elevates collective spirit.

Good morning y'all. It's Saturday, fuel, fate Fuel, and I actually have. I'm excited. It's the first day of March and I'm excited. I know I'm on a little bit later than normal, but I'm just excited about what I'm going to share with y'all today. So let me get us ready here. It's March 1st 2025 and I hope you're excited.
Speaker 1:So this is for my people who are still trying to do the things this year. You're still believing God, but you're doing the work. We're building, we're seeding, we're doing all the things right. And I'm coming out of Deuteronomy 1, verse 8, and it says see, see, I've set the land before you Go in and take possession of the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give to them and to their offspring after them. So, father, I just thank you, first of all, for just waking us up, showing us a new month and giving us the mercies of this day and this month, and I'm excited for everything that you're going to do. We're going to be partnering with you, lord. God, it's not you doing everything, but I thank you for all the doors and opportunities that you're opening for us, for those who have been obedient, for those who are staying focused and disciplined to carry out the assignments that you have before us, whether it's a new job or a new opportunity, or even building on our skills, or you know, whatever it is that you have told us, that is ours, that we're going in to take possession of this this month of March. So I thank you Lord. I thank you Lord. I thank you Lord, amen.
Speaker 1:All right, so I want to share something really quickly. I was like mulling over in my head how to talk to you all about this. You know something before I, before I started I know, like the Emmy don't want me to tell y'all about this like this is how it works sometimes, because I've had this. I was so filled with joy before I came on. Part of the reason I came on late this morning is I did what's called an everything shower. I don't know if y'all know what that is, but an everything shower is where you do like everything your scrubs, the shave, the all the things you wash, your hairubs, the shave, the all the things you wash your hair. You know all the things in the shower the body oil, all the things right, and then I cleaned my shower and all the things for me prophetically. I like to do those uh, everything shower, um, at the beginning of the month because it's a, it starts, it's like a restart for me, and when I'm in there, I'm releasing, I'm stripping all of the stuff that I've, maybe the disappointments, maybe the past thoughts, behaviors, things like that. I'm stripping them off from the previous month and I'm washing the water. It's cleansing me. So, as I'm doing my everything shower for me, prophetically, I'm cleansing and releasing all the things from the baggage of the last month so that, as I'm starting the new month, I'm going, I'm walking into new. So so the couple of things that I want to share with you maybe three things is around our mindset for the month of March.
Speaker 1:Now, there are two types of mindsets and I don't own the rights to these ideals or thoughts. Quite frankly, I've heard this before. I don't know the source, but I do actually believe it because I live it and there are two types of mindsets. There are folks, some folks, that have an abundant mindset. A mindset of abundance it means that, you know, we truly believe that all things are working together for our good and we always see, you know, we always see things from that perspective that God is always going to fulfill is always going to come. You don't have to scratch your way to anything because things just come to you right Now.
Speaker 1:There's also the other mindset, that's of a poverty or a lack mindset, where you tend to clutch or hold on to things because you don't believe it's going to happen for you. And it's not a financial thing, it's nothing to do with money, but it does show up in your finances as well. So typically, if you have a mindset of lack, you're afraid to take risks, you're afraid to take chances, and you know you look around and what you see is all the things that are not going to work in your favor, but it doesn't mean that you're not. You know, I think when we think about both these mindsets, I think most people were in the middle. I believe I'm in the middle because I don't have a poverty mindset, meaning I don't look at everything and look at the negative and what's not going to work and what's not. You know I don't look at it, but I'm very cautious and I'm at risk. I'm sensitive to risk, meaning I'm very careful about what the risk is in a relationship, like if I'm thinking about am I going to have a friendship or, you know, any kind of connection with anybody. Y'all. My mindset is now more cautious about that, just because of the stage of life that I'm in. I'm not bringing everybody with me and we ain't got to be friends. Okay, I'm just being serious.
Speaker 1:Where we are, where we going, all right, an abundant mindset and a poverty mindset. These are two things that I want you to think about because, as the word says, see. So you have to be able to open your eyes and ask God to give you discernment so you can see, see the land that's set before you. You need to have an idea of where you're going. Remember, god works with us y'all. This ain't magic. It's not like we pray and then everything like magically shows up and we don't have to do anything. Right, even as it says, see, I've set the land before you. It says go in and take possession. That means you got to actually do something. So, for those of us who are taking possession of whether the land is, maybe you're starting a new YouTube channel, you're starting a new business, you're writing a book. If you've just lost your job and you're looking at other streams of income, maybe you're continuing in the business. Whatever it is we're going in and our mindset is all going to be about an abundant mindset. We're going to believe God for what he says, coming out of Deuteronomy 1, verse 8. And you're going to put that up for the month of March and we're going to see. We're going to go in and take possession. That means we're going to do the work. So I hope that blesses you. Now here's something that I'm doing this month and again I'm only encouraging. I'm not trying to. There's no movement. I'm just encouraging you all.
Speaker 1:But something that was built into me because of my family, because of my parents. They were philanthropists and I really didn't understand what that meant until I got much, much older I'm over 50 and I just started to understand what it meant. But they gave, they were giving for the sake of giving. So my father he was not a huge spiritual man. My mom was a minister and a teacher, but he would always tell us that you give for the sake of giving. So my father in our home country, would build schools and would build homes for people. Most of the times I didn't know who he was. He wasn't doing it for the flex, okay. And my mom, she was a teacher, but she used to pay for kids' school fees, including family members. She would tutor kids who couldn't afford it. You know, we went to a prep school, if you know what that is, in Jamaica, so it wasn't free, but she gave a lot of her time in that way, and so they were folks who gave for the sake of giving, not expecting people to bless them, but God blessed them in so many ways, including their children, their offspring.
Speaker 1:Okay, so this month I am, there's a few of us that we're just doing this. We're going through our closets, y'all. We're purging through our homes, but we're giving things. We're giving what we can. So I'm doing that today. My daughter and I, we're packing up the car and we're going to go donate stuff. So I'm going to urge you and encourage you to do that. There's a lot of people who've been impacted by job loss this year so far and since January, and they're going to need, you know, some summer clothes for their kids or whatever. Whatever you have y'all.
Speaker 1:So I'm just encouraging to give for the sake of giving in the month of March, give what you have. You don't even got to announce it, you don't have to, you know, go on the streets and say look what I did. Please don't make this about you. Focus on giving for the sake of giving. If you share it on social media that you're giving for the sake of giving in the month of March, please tag us so that we know that you're doing, because we want to keep encouraging as many people as possible to do that. And and also, if you post it on social media, let it be you giving a testimony. Like I said, if you try to make this about yourself, this thing will bite you. This thing will curse you. Don't give for the sake of the glow up and the blow up. Don't use this as an opportunity to say look at me. I want you to use this as an opportunity to look at God.
Speaker 1:The last thing I want to share this is my third thing the last thing I want to share with you is when we think about wealth and I want you to think about wealth in a different way this month of March as well. So I was thinking about as I came down to my kitchen, turned on the light, and I was thinking I'm wealthy because I can turn on the light in my house and I don't have to worry about switching off the lights. I'm wealthy because I can buy groceries and it doesn't have to be on payday. I'm wealthy because I can actually still shop at Bath and Body Works and get a couple candles a month. I'm wealthy because my fridge is full and my freezer is full and even though these people sometimes get on my nerves you know what I'm saying they can find food in this house to cook. I'm wealthy because I have my health and I can see and I can move. I'm wealthy because I have employment. I'm wealthy because I have a group of amazing people that I can pray with and pray for.
Speaker 1:I'm looking at wealth in a different way. So you might be looking at wealth as the Tesla and the bags and all the things. That's all right, I got the things okay. But my perspective this month of March is looking at wealth and being grateful for the wealth that I have. I think this is important because we're going to need that. So see, I have set the land before you Go in and take possession of the land. Thank you, lord, for that word. This is Deuteronomy 1, verse 8. Again, we're doing March, giving forgiving, and I that word. This is deuteronomy 1, verse 8. Again, we're doing march, giving forgiving and I pray that this is going to encourage you. God bless you y'all. Thank you so much for those y'all who watch these little videos and um who listen to us on the audio street. Thank you so much. Please go bless somebody else. I love you and take care. Bye.
