Good morning y'all. Welcome back to another Saturday Faith Fuel. I'm starting to say that more so that folks know where to find the rest of the video. I do post these on TikTok but if I go over 10 minutes it kind of gets cut off, I think. But you can catch all the Faith Fuel episodes of Saturday Teachings on the Mrs Pai YouTube channel. So good morning.
Speaker 1:It's the day after Thanksgiving in the US. Some of us are kind of waking up like this. No, it's a couple of days after. It's Saturday y'all. Thanksgiving was Thursday and I'm tired, but not tired exhaustion. Not tired because, like things were bad, tired because we had a ball, we had a good time, reconnected with friends and family Mainly family but it was good nonetheless, and I hope that for you, that you were able to experience just some time with your friends and family, maybe your neighbors, and so I just wanted to come in and just touch really quickly on this Saturday as we're getting back into the groove of things, because you know, I don't know if you're like me, when I leave, go out of town and do things that are kind of off my schedule. I need like a day to come back into it. I kind of have some things that I do. As soon as we walk in the house, you know, we empty our bags and I go straight to laundry mode, try to knock out a little laundry, but before I leave I always have the house in order so that when I come back there's no chaos or crazy, so I can feel rested when I come back, which is kind of strange rested but I'm still ready to get things back in order. It was reminded.
Speaker 1:I was thinking about that this morning, about discipline, and I shared about a month ago that that is going to be the theme. That is the theme for 2025, for Kamado Wilderness Prayer Ministry is our theme for 2025 is discipline, and it has been so strange because, since I said that I have been tested so many times with so many things Well, I guess, things that you'd call maybe little things, testing me myself, being disciplined, disciplined in I've had, I think, well-intentioned people try to come to me to say you know, hey, what about this theme or that theme? I'm like no, he's already told me Like the theme is discipline and even in my like responses and where I'm spending my money and where I spend my time, where I speak exercise, he's just been showing up. The Lord Jesus has been showing up in so many ways, um, in reminding me the importance of discipline and sticking to our word, and, and I want to, I want to encourage y'all I was thinking about a scripture that, um, you know, that will kind of tie into this and show you and I'm having a little trouble finding one scripture because there's so many, I'm sorry y'all, there's so many, but I think what I want to share just really, really quickly, is when you're thinking about remember, when Jesus was sending out the disciples and he gave them the instructions of how they should go two by two, that it wasn't just, you know, a bible story, it wasn't just him, you know, throwing out a number. If you think about the ark and the animals coming in two by two, there is, there is a reason, there is always a reason, a deeper reason, a deeper mystery, to when the lord teaches us about order and discipline and and even in that you know, when he gave them the instructions to go out and do that talk, talking about dusting off your feet and all those things, that that that's something that you got to be, you got to, you got to remember. When you're thinking about being disciplined, right. So folks are going to show up, they're going to say something to maybe throw you off and give you that distraction.
Speaker 1:But we talked about this. We talked about how we're closing out the month of November, that we're being focused, clear, intentional with our time. No distractions, don't get caught up in anything. Finish out your month, but it's the same principle we're going to use to finish out the year and that's going to get us ready for 2025. And again, the theme is actually discipline. There's nothing else. We're going to be disciplined next year.
Speaker 1:So again, I just want to just pop on in our Saturday quick teaching and just share that word with you, and I hope that it's going to encourage you. As you know, as we kind of move into December, december this series will cover hope, and so I'm looking forward. My husband just walked in and just totally threw me off. Again. I'm learning discipline for the rest of this month. All right, y'all, I love you. I will be back next Saturday, don't forget you can catch all of our prayers and teaching. We will be back next thursday um for the phone line, three prayer sisters and um, and so I'll just give you, say a quick prayer, just cover y'all, especially those of you who are traveling back today from your uh, your thanksgiving holiday.
Speaker 1:If you weren't celebrating thanksgiving because you're not in the us, or even if you celebrated it, you're by yourself. We don't pray. To pray for you too, okay, so we just thank you, lord, for this opportunity. We thank you for those who were able to be with friends, and be with family and share a meal and just have some fun times together. And, lord, as we're all dispersed and going in our separate ways, I pray that you'll bless our path, bless us going to and from, and I ask that you'll even cover the households, those who are hosted and those that you know are going to go through the process of cleaning up, giving us, lord, the discipline to stay on the task that you've given us.
Speaker 1:I thank you for every single person and every family. Under the sound of my voice. I pray that they will receive all that they're asking from you in this season, that they will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. And I thank you, lord, again, for just giving us this day to just bless you. For those who are downhearted or feeling alone, lord, I pray that you'll just drop a seed of joy and let them know that they are not alone. If nothing else, they've got me. Amen, all right, so we thank you, lord, for everything. Bless y'all, have an.
