Speaker 4:All set no wall you won't kick down, lie.
Speaker 5:You won't tear down, coming after me. No shadow. You won't light up mountain. You won't climb up, coming after me mountain you won't climb up no wall, you won't kick down. Lie, you won't sit down. Thank you, good evening.
Speaker 2:Good evening.
Speaker 8:Give me one second, we're going to get started.
Speaker 8:All right, y'all, we are live on the YouTube streets. I believe we're going to do this a little bit differently tonight because this is not a prayer session, although we will pray, we're going to do that but I'm just making sure I did drop the Zoom link for folks who, if you want to join Zoom or if you want to be in the YouTube chat, you can also do that. So just bear with me one second. I just want to make sure I have done it correctly and then that's going to be that y'all. So, first of all, we're just going to just take a moment to breathe. It's been a day for a lot of folks and, um, and I just want to acknowledge that, you know, a lot of us are trying to get it tracy, trying to, um, you know, deal with the results of the election, and so that's part of, uh, how we're feeling, and it's okay to feel the feelings, y'all. It's okay to go and go through the process of feeling the feelings. Um, tonight we're going to talk about, um, our progress in soar. So, for those of y'all who are kind of new and you're like, what are you talking about, well, at the beginning of this year, um, a group of us came together and you can go back and watch the replay on the mrs pie youtube channel and we we were. We've been operating in the theme soar s-o-a-r for uh for this year, 2024. Soar stands for spirit led, obedient, anointed and renewed, and so we've been leaning into this theme of soar all year, and so now that we we are in November, it's just a good time for us to check in so we can kind of see where we are, and sometimes we just need a little bit of a refresh. So I've got a couple of quick slides I'm going to share. We want to make this an open discussion for those who come on a little bit later. We are recording this. I think we are live on YouTube. So if there's anything that you can also share with your journey that could help somebody else, I'm going to ask you to please, please, don't gatekeep, because there's a lot of folks who are going to need it. So I'm going to share my screen. I don't know why I'm heading in high so much, y'all because, one, I am nursing a migraine, so just bear with me, and two, because I am emotionally exhausted. So I just want to be honest with y'all for real. I am going through it myself, but that don't mean we're not going to get it together tonight. So I just have a couple of slides and I'm going to stop sharing so we can make this more a conversation. So again, welcome to everybody who's joining.
Speaker 8:This is SOAR Refresh. We're going to again, as I said, we're going to kind of check in where we are in our goals and then we're going to help each other get to the next step. So before we do that, lord, I just want to thank you for this night. Thank you for bringing all of us together, even reminding us what it is that we had set out to do, what were some of the things that we agreed to at the beginning of the year. And just help us, lord, as we are in the month of November, that you speak to our hearts. We want to submit to your will for our lives and we want to be blessed in everything that we do, and so we're just going to ask, lord, that you take over even this session, everything that we do, and so we're just going to ask, lord, that you take over even this session and for those of us who are willing to share our journey and anything that could help somebody else. Lord, I thank you for that. I thank you for that. We all need the help, we all need the encouragement and so, lord, I thank you that you're with us tonight, you know, even just for these few moments in time, to just bless us and help us to get back on track. Amen, there is no shame in it.
Speaker 8:So I have a caption in here that says we're running the race together and I'm going to show you kind of the agenda. Then I'm going to stop sharing and then we're just going to talk. We're going to talk through it. For those of y'all who want to come on camera, please feel free to do that. If you don't want to, it's all right.
Speaker 8:So, just in terms of the agenda, we're going to talk about where we are, the status of our various goals. So you know, if you want to share some of the things maybe some of the things that were goals for you at the beginning of the year and you know, kind of, where you are Honest y'all, be honest about where you are. If you had a goal in, you know February and you know by June, you had to let that thing go or you replace your goals or you adjust it in any way. You know, share that with us. The second point we're just going to talk about so, what's working and what's not working, and then the other points. You know, really, about setting the intention, we do have a little time left in 2024, and we're going to use this time wisely. So there's some things we want to do to set the goals and the intention for the rest of the year. I'm going to ask y'all some questions about, quite frankly, if you need a reset. I know I had to go through a reset halfway through the year, so I'm going to talk about that Some of the tools that we could use to break any distraction that's coming our way. What do we really need to change? Sometimes it's our attitude and our mindset, sometimes it's people and our locations, and then we're going to close out with just encouraging each other to run the race together. So that's the agenda. I'm going to stop sharing now, because we're not going to stare at a PowerPoint all night. We're going to look at each other and have these conversations. So Sandra yeah, you know is already saying that her mental space isn't good today, and I'm telling you we are all in the same boat. I think this for this next time that we have with each other.
Speaker 8:As I mentioned before, it's okay to please feel the don't you know, don't like, try to power your way through. It's okay to feel the feelings. I had a frank discussion with my daughter this morning before she went to school and she was in a lot of fear and so I was talking her through. It's okay to feel the feelings you know regardless. But something else I share with her. That was I think many of us were already well aware, or maybe we know, but now we know for sure is is that, um, this world still seems to be, at least in the U S, terrified of black women leading anything. So that's the first thing, that that, uh, that stood out for me still very terrified of us leading anything, and that the second thing is that y'all, we have to work harder than other people, and that's just a fact. We work harder than other folks to get recognition, to be seen and to have value in our jobs and our community and clearly, to run a country right, and so some of those biases are baked in, and maybe what's shocking to people is, you know, we didn't think that it was baked into folks that look like us as well. Right, but that is what's up. So so that is.
Speaker 8:That is kind of a just a statement I want to make. Yeah, we're going to feel the feelings. Don't rush through it. All Christian women, I just want to remind you that we don't serve a God where he's not in control. You know, please don't fall into depression or doubt or worry. You know, try not to. You know, try not to be consumed. It's okay to feel the feelings, but try not to be consumed by what's happening, because God is still in control. So just remember that.
Speaker 8:And then, aside from that, we're not going to use this. This is not going to be a distraction from the things we got to do, the goals that we have put in place, the dreams that we have, y'all. We're not going to allow this to be a distraction for us not doing what we got to do. We're not going to do that because we have families, kids, spouses, relatives. We have our families depending on us, because we know we kids, spouses, you know relatives we have our families depending on us and because we know we're the backbone for real. Okay, you know we're going to, we're going to do that, so that's, you know that's.
Speaker 8:Another thing is. That's why we have to do it together. It's really important for us to lift each other up. Some days. You know you might be stronger than me and I'm coming to you to lift me up. And for those of y'all who are watching, if you don't have a community of uh, of really strong women you can lean on, or you know a strong woman in your life, or whatever this is. This is why it's so important to have a community that you can still rely on and get you through these things and and and kind of. That's what we're going to do here tonight.
Speaker 8:So the first question I have is kind of the status of our goals and just kind of where you are right now. Again, we started out in February. Some of us had vision boards and we wrote it down. We made it plain. But for those of y'all who want to share, what is the status of your goal and have you had to make any changes? So I'm going to stop talking and have y'all join in Again. Just be honest about where you are. If you don't even remember what your goal is, it's all right. So what is the status of your goals? So who wants to tell me?
Speaker 5:Hey, it's Judith, I'll go first. So one of well, the overall was to be more intentional on things and the exercise we're still working on, but for most of the other things, as you mentioned, feel the feelings like actually sitting down with the time. I am notorious for, or have been notorious for in the past, pushing through, I can feel it later, I can break down later, everything's later, and you know, later doesn't really call. So what I have done, and made a conscious effort to do this year, is to go okay, do you need five minutes?
Speaker 5:I don't know, but I'm going to take the five minutes just to try to do that. I'd originally said on the exercise side I wanted to try to get a 5k and a quarter. That didn't happen but I am going to. I still have done my treadmill. That's, that's stayed. That's good being more intentional also about some of the opportunities that may or may not show up in walking into those. So, as of last week, for 2025, you are speaking to the new president of the Women's Missionary Auxiliary at Mountain Welcome Baptist Church.
Speaker 8:Congratulations.
Speaker 5:That's a new thing. I'm excited and terrified at the same time. But um, one thing I do know about that group of ladies. They're like we got you, don't worry about it. It was like you've already had some good ideas, so we're just gonna keep rolling on that. So I'm like, okay, as long as you got me.
Speaker 5:just they were like yeah, we already know, you don't know everything, it's fine, you know. But so, yeah, so that I am taking deep breaths and moving forward with. Oh, on a happy, happy side, the last of my husband's student loans got forgiven and we got a check back. So what?
Speaker 8:yeah, judy, that's awesome. Congratulations on both fronts, you know, you know that there's a, there's a saying about doing it scared or doing it anyway, or something like that and I love that. You know, regardless of the emotions and the feelings are temporary you know what I'm saying. So, even moving forward, regardless of how you feel in the moment, I'm so proud of you. That is awesome. Y'all, y'all, that is so good. Thank you, judith. Who wants to go next? Where are you on?
Speaker 1:I can go, I can say everything is, uh, in progress. Some are having a reset, um, but you know, my, my goal from from a financial perspective, um is is going forward, got that organized, got that going more in a positive direction, um, of at least knowing what to do as things come in and to allocate it correctly. So now it's not feeling like another worry, um. But I had to realize my mindset of, oh, if I could just get that under control my life, I would be okay mentally. No, no, he just let me know like, yes, that's just one thing, this thing you know you have to worry about, but you still worry about everything. Now it's just like, okay, you got to get into your mindset of not, you know, cast it all on him. Just know he's going to take care of it, which leads me into my my things that I'm trying to do, of it which leads me into my things that I'm trying to do. You know, home declutter started. That wasn't a goal when I started this year, but I'm adding that in and that can be overwhelming. So that's another thing where I'm having is like, you know, just keep your faith in me and I'll guide you on how to do it. So that's something I've actually added in toward the later half and then just mentally trying to do better Just started actually this Saturday when we had our women's conference at Eastgate, which is.
Speaker 1:I woke up that morning and it was just like, you know, put your face on. I haven't done makeup on my face and I don't know how long I've never been a makeup person, but something this whole week is just that, you know, put your face on, like, do like something for you, and to be like, hey, you get up, you do that, look good, you feel good, you do good kind of thing. So I started that this week. We'll see if we'll keep that up. From a physical, my exercising started out good with my 40 for 40. I did that twice and then I got off track and I got off track with my water. So that's the thing I need to get back on, because I was making very, actually very good, good progress on that from a health perspective. So I need to get that going again. But everything is still always a work in progress and even when I reset, I'm not saying it's not going well, it's just we're resetting and we're going to keep pushing.
Speaker 8:Wow, that's awesome. That's a good note too for folks that it's okay to make.
Speaker 5:Hey, what's the 40 for 40?
Speaker 8:oh yeah, see, tell her what, tell her about that uh, 40 for 40 it was.
Speaker 1:It was something I saw toward the end of last year that I picked up, which I started in the new year, which is you walk one mile a day for 40 days, so it's 40 days with jesus. So basically 40 for 40. Um, so one mile a day for 40 days and you have your reading. So we did the book of Luke. I want to say is what we actually did this time, and then that second one, I actually just started breaking down the book of Proverbs. So it was like you have your reading and you have your exercise at the same time.
Speaker 1:And for me I would get on the treadmill or get outside and I would either put like Shelly's Thursday morning teaching, or you know, pastor Rick Warren, some you know, and you'd be amazed how quickly that 25 to 30 minutes goes by and you've done a mile and you've spent that time intentionally with his word or with teaching. Or you can get your inspirational music. I've done that as well, gotten a playlist and just had it going and just kind of worship through songs yeah, okay, you have a lip gloss or tint or stain or something he was talking about makeup.
Speaker 5:Your lips look like they're a different color.
Speaker 1:I still haven't on, I haven't wiped it off yet yeah, she's still got it oh, I love that, so that's a good.
Speaker 8:That's a good point, too, about the 40 for 40 for anybody who's watching, who maybe you're trying to think of a simple um routine. It's not complicated and it's also including worship, so it's a twofer. It's a twofer, so thank you for sharing that. All right, who wants to go next on their goal and where they are?
Speaker 3:I can go. My goal for 2024 was to not take on everybody else's problems because it tends to have such a bad effect on me. That's, with my family and my friends and especially with my family, and it actually caused my deterioration in my own health for years. So I stopped it in 2024. For the most part, I didn't need it. I just had to learn how to say that it was okay for me to say I can't know, you know. The word know is it's okay for me to say that for several reasons. And I did pretty good in 2024 with that. I met um, I met my. I almost met my financial goals. I did pretty good, but not as well as I should have. I could have done Um. I did well with my IRAs and things like that.
Speaker 3:I did very well, but I just towards the end of the year I just started surging on unnecessary things that I didn't need and I was trying to keep that in control. But I did lose a little control on that and I'm in the greetings ministry at Windsor Church and I had to pull back from that. This last four to five months I was just I'm just going through some stuff regarding my son. I'm going to join back. I'll be back at the first of the year, I told him, but for the most part, the year has been good. I just have to stay more focused on things. Just stay more focused and understand that I can't save everybody. I can't save anybody. Actually, that's not my job. I'd be all stressed out because of other people's problems, not my own. I had to cut and let that go. That's why I have anxiety Because of other people's baggage, not my own. So I think 2025 will be much, much better, by his grace.
Speaker 2:Progress and perfection.
Speaker 8:That's cool.
Speaker 5:I've watched my cousin. I have a cousin that is where her whole body is impassed. That's a struggle to not take on everybody else's stuff. I watched her struggle with that for a bit. It's a hard, hard fight when you're trying to be helpful to everybody but you. So, yeah, I'm glad you're making progress, though. That's a good thing thank you I love that I'm over here.
Speaker 8:I'm taking notes, y'all, we're taking notes, all right, thank you for that. Thank you for sharing that. Um, all right, who wants to go next? Where are you at in your goals? Hi, it's.
Speaker 6:Audrey, audrey, hello. I had a couple of things on my list. One was to start to dream again, and I can say that I've started to do that and I have to remind myself that it's okay, because when you have so much going on, you're trying to take care of so many other people, they get in your way and you don't think about yourself, right? You just think about everything else that's going on. And you know, I've decided that I, you know, needed, as I said, started to dream again and I can say that I have done that successfully, to the point where I'm, you know, planning trips and things like that and just trying to, you know even the little things of getting out of the office early, right, you can clear your mind to start to think about other things.
Speaker 6:Even the construction that's going on in my home, that's been going on since July, you know that well, a lot of people would not be able to find peace.
Speaker 6:In that. I'm totally okay, because we are in a position that we can refresh, and not just refresh our minds, but we're refreshing our home and getting rid of stuff. So a part of it is decluttering and I try to do at least an hour of decluttering a week not to try to take on something so big, because when you try to take it on something big, like something really big, like my closet, where and it's not that my closet is big, it's just that I just buy too much stuff and had to stop right, um. But when you try to take it on, if you just take sections at a time, it becomes a lot easier to manage. And one of the confirmations that I needed to declutter my, my other closet, where I was throwing you know, everything else in there, well, y'all the the rack fell, I mean, it was too many codes on it, right. So I can't even look in that closet right now because I need to finish the other stuff.
Speaker 6:So, but my point is, you know the Lord, help you with little you know, remind you or show you size of yep you you got it and ricardo's like, so when you're gonna, you know, get that stuff out of that closet, I said, honey, we're remodeling, let's take care of that right, because I'm gonna need his help to re hang the rat right. So I don't want to put any more stress on him. So, anyway, gotta definitely take care of that. But, um, as far as exercise, I've done really well. I do at least um pilates twice a week and then I get on the treadmill. Now I may not be in a position where I can get on the scale and see weight loss, because I am really bad with portion control. I can eat, I mean, you know what.
Speaker 6:I'm saying I love different foods. It's not that you know, I just like different foods. I'm not, you know, any nationality of food. I will try it. I just love food.
Speaker 6:But I think you know my problem, which I recognize, is portion control and you know, not having not eating on a schedule where my body is adjusting right, I'm just stuffing my face and moving on. So but the X from the exercise perspective, water intake I'm doing really well there. That was one of the goals that we started out with and I actually added something. Where I was, I actually do a detox a quarter just to kind of clear my body of stuff. So detox my body, that means I'm detoxing my mind. So I take at least a three-day fast when I'm doing that so that I can just kind of, you know, readjust myself.
Speaker 6:I really believe when you are, when you're trying to refocus, you have to kind of give some stuff up, right, and that way, and that's what I do when I do my detox, I just, you know, my whole body and then do my mind as well. And the other thing that I started to do is, you know, when you want to do something, you kind of procrastinate about it. I forget the author's name. I stopped following her so I forgot her name, but she would always say 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and then just get it done. Right, you just do those numbers. I don't remember her name Robin Robbie, something with an R, I think but anyway, she says 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and then get up and get something done, and that's what I do as well. So that's kind of it for me and I'm just grateful for the opportunity just to get up every day and reset and refocus.
Speaker 8:Can you share your detox and your fast oh?
Speaker 6:sure.
Speaker 8:Yeah, what is that?
Speaker 6:So for the first quarter I did no meat and I was doing a lot of bone broth just to kind of clear my system. So I did that for the first quarter. For the second quarter and third quarter I did juicing I did. I would just juice, have several different recipes that I would use and just do juice. And sometimes what I find is when I do the three day, because your body adjusts, you can go four or five. So I would just kind of lean into that and go in and do that. But the juicing is what I prefer and I do you know anything from I'm just going to call the colors out, I mean the green juice to carrots with turmeric or whatever. But I have different recipes that I can. I'm happy to share with anyone that is interested. And when I do that I just juice, I don't eat anything. So it's just juicing. And I do a lot of bone broth when I'm juicing as well. So it's a combination. Did I answer your question there, shelly?
Speaker 8:We need one more. There was no meat, there's juicing and I think there's one more.
Speaker 6:No, those were the. I did juicing for two quarters. Yeah oh okay, and I'm trying to figure out what I'm. I'm actually late on this one. I started a juice and then I decided that I wanted to do something different and I need to get back into that program. I said I actually said last night I was going to do no meat. Um, but I haven't. I think today I had some meat. So I can't, can't do that. I haven't started that yet.
Speaker 2:I thought you were doing no sugar with us.
Speaker 6:Oh, I am doing no sugar. Yeah, that's probably why I woke up with a headache this morning.
Speaker 4:She came for you fast. What is my head hurting, yeah?
Speaker 5:Yeah, awesome.
Speaker 8:All right. Thank you so much, audrey. All right, who wants to go next? Where you at, where you at?
Speaker 3:That's my teacher.
Speaker 4:Well, I guess I'll go. I got a headache too, I think. This sugar thing, bro, I'm like lord man this is insanity. I went to the gym. I was like I gotta be back on time to be on the call. My head start hurting. As soon as I walked through the door I said oh you alive, you gotta be on the call. My head saw heart hurt. As soon as I walked through the door I said oh you alive, you gotta be, on this elliptical friend, get this body moving, um.
Speaker 4:So for me, my goal is not where I thought it was going to be. Um this year I thought that I will be in another position, I didn't know what position. For some reason, I was searching for a position. Then God told me to sit my toe down, right, so I was looking for the next. I've been praying for the next, but I haven't been. I feel like I just need to. I'm in a sweet spot and just appreciate the sweet spot and not chasing the next you get because I think, yes, I got so caught up and, oh, my god, I'm tired of this, I need to do something different. I need something different. Um, so I I lost focus of that.
Speaker 4:So right now I'm back on, okay, like, okay, god, what, what do you? Why do you still have me on this assignment? I know I'm here for a reason. I know all the other jobs and positions that you allowed me to have, having this, I had an assignment, that purpose, so me trying to rekindle the purpose and where I'm at like to figure out the assignment, or it's just not just to get a paycheck, cause at some point it was just like I'm just here to train these people and get a paycheck Right. So I have to figure out the love again and realize it's an assignment, it's purpose, so that's where I'm. That's the alignment that I had to switch my brain and then realize, okay, maybe, so I'm trying to figure out, okay, so maybe I should get some certifications. I've been going up and down that ladder. I just feel like I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing, but right now I'm just trying to stay still. Right now I'm trying to stay settled and stay still because, like I said, I've noticed, out of the 24 years of my life, even at this job, all the places I've been, it was an assignment and purpose and I don't want to rush the assignment because I want to make more money or lose the vision of what he has for me, because I want to rush Because, makisha, you know what I'm saying, ty, so it's making me learning how to appreciate the sweet spot.
Speaker 4:You know what I'm saying. I think sometimes we get in the sweet spot and we be like okay, I know something about this, the shoe's about to drop. Something about the shoes about to drop something is wrong, you know. But it's like, yeah, just enjoy it. You know I'm saying you don't have a micromanager, you don't want your manager trusting you gonna do your job and your work is into the law, you don't have to. So it like it's just making me re. Even my husband was like girl, you work from home. Like you, you rushing, you rushing the process. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4:So I think it's just with me just trying to find the. I feel like I want to build myself up, but I'm like why? What's the why? So my whole thing now is what's the why, makisha? Like what are you trying to get a title? Like what are you trying to chase?
Speaker 4:Like you know, I'm saying who are you trying to prove yourself to? Who you're trying to that, who you want to validate? You like so that's been going through my that's for the last three months. That's what my mind being like up and down like a roller coaster. But I'm like, okay, god.
Speaker 4:So today I finally came to the point like sitting on some wet bread. You know like, chill out. You know what I'm saying, because I have to talk to myself like that. I have to be real with myself. Like you in a sweet spot, and it's okay, nothing's happening. You got blessings after blessings, after blessings, what do you? What are you chasing? You know what I'm saying. I think sometimes we want to chase the next because it's going to bring you something, but why? You know what I'm saying. I think elevation or all that stuff that we want. You know what I'm saying? I got bills right, my husband's got bills. We got bills and they've been getting paid, but I just have to figure out well, to move and all that stuff. So that's what's been going on in my mind. My goals, weight-wise I'm still the same way. I still eat good, but now that I'm on this sugar thing with Shelly and my head's starting to hurt, but it's all good because I got these ibuprofen in my hand and I'm going to take that.
Speaker 3:When did you guys start the no sugar thing?
Speaker 4:Oh my God, sunday Right. When did you guys start the no sugar?
Speaker 5:thing oh my god, uh sunday right and they just started I'm like I'm sorry I wouldn't fell off the wagon today and today I really wanted to.
Speaker 4:I literally was in kroger's. I've been set up for the last two days. I went to Publix yesterday I told this testimony yesterday to go get some stinking fruit because I was like we can have natural sugar. And so I'm walking around Kroger's and just getting fruit, fruit, fruit fruit Failed to get, didn't get any water, Didn't get any of this other stuff, because all I was thinking about is I can't have sugar, but then progress had the audacity to have the bogo, but I want to get more free on all my favorite snacks.
Speaker 4:The smart popcorn, here it goes. I was like why are we? You know, I'm saying that my husband's like? I'm like, no, I'm not buying it because I will eat it. I don't have that much discipline in my life right so you know I mean, and then I go toroger's and now they got all the Christmas candy out and all the. Halloween candy. I'm just like and my head's hurting.
Speaker 1:I'm like you need dinner.
Speaker 4:You need to. I was like, well, what if I just eat one of these pieces of candy? And I'm like like Lord, I feel bad and I'll be lying to myself.
Speaker 8:A lot like a lot you know well, goals require, they require discipline, right, that's, that's you know. Achieving it requires discipline. So you know, especially as Christians, we love talking about breaking the flesh.
Speaker 4:That's what it looks like, raise your hand if this is what it looks like. Amen, amen but the cool. But the cool part is I'm so excited because my husband's been fixing. He has. We had some honey do projects, overdue honey, overdue projects and, um, he has been attacking them. I'm like. So I'm super excited that part of the decluttering all that stuff. He was like on saturday we're gonna have this oh yeah, that's exciting.
Speaker 2:I love you. Thank you, nakisha nakisha.
Speaker 5:Remember though, as you keep exercising, muscle weighs more than fat.
Speaker 8:Don't get caught up on the number.
Speaker 5:That's right pay attention to how your clothes fit, how you feel those are going to be your biggest indicators.
Speaker 4:If you're getting better, yes, so give yourself a little break on that one I, I'm giving myself, I'm trying to give myself grace because, um, shelly's doing this app and I was like, girl, you paying for a whole gym, I'm not finna, pay for the app, you don't have to do either. I'm like I'm on this app. I mean I'm in the gym and they have all these different classes and I like the classes. So I was like friend, I'll just be giving the app money. I need to get out to get my mind in. You know what I'm saying. So I didn't jump on that one, but I'm on the sugar thing.
Speaker 8:As long as they're consistent and do what works for you, that's all.
Speaker 4:Let the. Lord use you. Let the Lord use you. Shelly, Let the Lord use you.
Speaker 8:What about you, Tracy? How are you doing with your goals?
Speaker 2:So I do have my vision board. Wow, that you made. Yes, I want y'all to know a couple of things. My thing for 2024, in addition to SOAR was positioned for purpose, positioned for purpose, and God just did a whole thing with that. The other thing I want you to notice is um, I got scolded because I didn't leave room for God forgot, no, but, um, that was such.
Speaker 2:This year has been so amazing, and that's not to say that I accomplished every goal. Oh, that's to say that because I plugged into god and got in alignment with where I was supposed to be and what I was supposed to be doing, then he was able to just release just amazing blessings. I mean, on the heels of one. Here comes the next. What if the aim is nine? It's just been absolutely mind-blowing and amazing to Amos 9. It's just been absolutely mind-blowing and amazing. However, as far as goals, I wanted to study the Bible more Definitely, definitely doing that in different ways. I got to get a concordance for 2025. That's going on 2025, lord, too, I definitely traveled. I traveled my hind parts off. What do you want to say?
Speaker 5:I thought I saw something walk in. Yeah.
Speaker 2:There's a little bit effective. Okay, he wants to go outside. Give me a second time.
Speaker 8:Never mind us being on camera and alive. Yeah, Like nope, I need to go Right, right While we're waiting. Carol, did you want to share anything?
Speaker 2:Oh, okay, never mind Tracy's back, Please continue I mean, while I was on mute he didn't have nothing to say, but I come off mute and he went. I had gardening on here and I gardened and enjoyed it, and gardening has so many symbolisms with spirituality and your walk and it's good for your mental health. Oh, my goodness, it is so good. I shared with and thank you to my accountability partner, Makisha. I also shared with Shelly. One of my goals was to finish my book and I became a little disheartened about that because I felt like I wasn't as far along as I needed to be. Um, it should have been done. And Shelly came right on in with that vision. She could see that God was still writing my story, he was still writing my story and so that kind of released that pressure you know to. I want to be done by July. I want to launch and publish this and all of that by December.
Speaker 8:Now imagine if you did that. All the stuff that you would have missed in that story. Oh my, goodness.
Speaker 2:And the other thing on here that I was starting to feel, like makisha, you know, like what it was actually coaching that has been percolating, um, for probably the last couple of years. I have sat in on some sessions and classes and interest calls and all the things. You know, those Facebook ads that pop up and I think it's coming. I know it's coming as a matter of fact. I know it's coming because I've always been that person that people call Okay. Fact, I know it's coming, um, because I've always been that person that people call okay. So, but, like makisha was saying, I don't, I don't want to rush it, I want it to come when it's time. I want it to be for the right reasons, um, and it's like when I was like okay, you know, maybe it's not for 2024.
Speaker 2:I put it on as vision, not necessarily, um, something that had to manifest in this, in this 12 months. And so, um, I actually got into another, had a session, a whole week long session last week. Um, that just inspired me more. We'll say that. So, um, I want to. It's one other thing I wanted to say. I was, I was so glad for the theme soar spirit, led, obedient, anointed and renewed um because and I am regretfully saying, I'm glad that shelly made us wait to do.
Speaker 2:We made sure that we were right and ready and in the right heart posture posture all all you know, in all seriousness, um, because, um, I think it made it that much more impactful. You know internally, uh, to see things happen, to see things manifest and to know, to know where you're, where you're moving from, where your intentions are coming from, that they're coming from your heart and not because I want this title and this amount of money and and and and, but thank y'all to uh, you all that shared, you all that shared financial and exercise goals. They were on last year's vision board for me, because I'm serious about vision board. Fist bump, makisha, this was done.
Speaker 2:This was actually done in December. I actually did it in December. I always do them in December. But, like I said, that exercise with Shelly to get our hearts and our minds, that really focused and intentional renewing of our hearts and minds before we really dig into these goals and the vision that we have 2024 has truly been a blessing. Follow up on those two more things and y'all going to go through this journey with me because we're sisters now.
Speaker 8:Thank you, Dr Tracy. Something else that happened in 2024. Excuse me.
Speaker 5:Yeah. I saw that photo.
Speaker 8:That's so good. So, carol, um, I don't want to miss you, I do. I do want to tell you we shared this. Um, I think it was last night. I don't know what day is it Wednesday, so I think it was last night, or maybe it was Monday.
Speaker 8:Makisha, um, the number of calls that, the number of guests that were on the Three Praying Sister phone line, the report that I got that it was, I think it was 401. And I was like minus 10% of that for, like mishaps, so a rough around, like 360 individuals have been blessed through Three Praying Sisters, and that was just this year, and Carol was a huge part of it. Tracy's a huge part of it, sharon, that's who you know. Sharon, carol and Tracy are the ladies that run the line. The rest of us just show up, you know. So, if that wasn't on your goal for this year, it certainly is something to be just so proud of and, um, so I just want to do a quick shout out to Carol for that, for that particular goal. So, carol, if you have anything else you wanted to share, and if you don't, it's okay, but I'm just gonna pause for a minute so you can come off mute and say what you got to say so how did you know?
Speaker 7:I was gonna say I didn't even have no goals this year, but as I listened to the other ladies talk, I was like, yes, you do, and most of mine are dealing with, like health things. You know getting in that water and exercising, and I don't know why I'm not, you know, doing it. I have every opportunity each day to get up and do that, but I just find other things to do, like decluttering and and all that stuff. But, um, the one thing I do do, though, is spending the time, um, with the father, so that I do, but I I know I need to do the other thing. So, thank you. And then, tracy, when you mentioned the book, I'm like that came up the first time I met. We were on Zoom, and I don't think I've picked it up since, you know, in 2023, I think it was. I wrote it, I wrote it and finished it, and then I need to go back and just do some things and get my son to do the illustrations, like we're changing some things up, and he's been sending me pictures through the email. He's like mom, did you see the picture? Did you see the picture, you know? So that is.
Speaker 7:A goal of mine is to I need to pick up that book and finish it, because I have a second one that's coming after it. So I thank you, ladies. And usually when I mention things to people, then I have this thing where now you've mentioned it, you better do it. So that's good for me to admit. When I mention things to people, then I have this thing where now you've mentioned it, you better do it. Gotta do it. So that's good for me to admit. I'm not drinking like I'm supposed to. I'm not, and I messed up too with the. I didn't know you guys were doing a no sugar thing, but I was supposed to be doing that anyway. But somebody put a bag of candy in my hand the other day.
Speaker 8:Made you take it.
Speaker 7:Five candies the other day, Made you take it. Buy candy, Right. And I go to her house and take some little trinkets to her daughter, some jewelry I had, and it was very little and I'm like I can't wear this. I gave it to her and she goes will you all take some candy? She said I made a little bag of candy for you. I was like sure, but I snacked on yesterday and today. So now that I know you guys are doing a no sugar thing, I'm in it.
Speaker 8:So a permissive challenge right, so that there is an actual 30 day challenge. So it's, it's to, it's to, just it's just a kick start. So you know, we, we say that now, now I'll tell you come December I might be back on gummy bears no shade. But I also have a? Um, a certain amount of weight that I want to lose before I even want to pick up my gummy bears again. Um, my fruit snacks that'd be a different story, because I'm hitting those in December.
Speaker 8:But I'm just not like um. I mean, I literally would like have that candy would be my meal, like candy and a bottle of water would literally be a meal for me, so that I'm not just not doing that. So for you know, for anybody who's watching us, you know, if you want to be a part of this um crazy group or you want to go along and do this too, you know we're inviting any everybody on this journey, whatever. Whatever it's for, whatever it is, you know, maybe it's a weight loss, or it's just a health thing or mindset thing, whatever it is. You know the reason that you're doing it. The point is that we all need to exercise and move our bodies. Y'all we're, you know we're, we're getting older, thank you, god, cause I want to be as old. As old means we're alive, but we just have to we have to.
Speaker 8:we have to take care of our body.
Speaker 8:So we're running down time and I have a question around thinking about the rest of the year and being really intentional about how we spend our time. The one question I asked I had was really for you to think about whether you do need a reset, and it sounds like you guys have already answered that. You know. You know, here are the things that I set out to do, and I had to make a pivot to steal Tracy's word, and so now that you've made the pivot is just following through.
Speaker 8:If you don't feel motivated, you know, maybe this is time for you to write it down, make it plain somewhere when you share it with other people, like you released it out of your mouth. Now you have other people that will hold you accountable out of love, right? Not out of pressure to say, hey, how are you doing with this thing? So that's something else. But the other thing I wanna touch on are some of the tools that help us break this distraction. So just this evening I was talking to my husband. We're talking about, especially with everything with the election, that we're taking a pause on watching the news I was junkie y'all, not just on the tv screen but on the ticker talk and the facebook and like everywhere.
Speaker 8:I was like I'm just consuming it.
Speaker 8:Um, but I was telling you, I was like, you know, I was actually finding so much joy watching my cleaning, cleaning videos on YouTube. Again, you know, just like I have books that I you know I'm reading it like one of my favorite authors. She's passed on, but her ghostwriter. Every year there's, there's two authors one is MC Beaton and the other one is Louise Penny and every year there's a new book. Well, the MC Beaton book came out and I read that in two days this weekend. The Louise Penny I have it on my nightstand.
Speaker 8:So just getting back into other things that you do with your time, you know, so that TV isn't a distraction and I mean an emotional for us right now an emotional distraction as well. So another tool that helps with distraction is lo-fi music. You know, I'll try to share it out, but you can play lo-fi. You can find the Christian version if you will, or whatever version, but lo-fi music, and play that in the background, if you can, at work or um, you know, when you're writing Tracy and Carol, um, lo-fi music is good for that. While you know, while you're studying, um, while you're exercising, but you know, while you're cooking, it's really good. I love it because it kind of takes the temperature down, it helps to de-stress. So sometimes I can't, I can't do like certain activities with like gospel music going because it's like the wrong pace. You know what I mean. But just thinking about, like, what are some of the tools that? So, whether it's watching different shows or picking up a book or listening to low-fi music, but what are some of the things that will help you break distraction?
Speaker 8:Something else distraction is like group chats on phone. I'm terrible at this. I'm not great at like responding right away, or sometimes I'll just have a heart. I really don't respond right away but even, especially as we're coming into the holiday season and you know we're going to be around all our friends and family, everybody's going to want to rehash what happened on that November 5th. And if you're not in that head space and that's not where you are, or as you're getting around other people and you're excited about your goal and you're talking to somebody who's not doing anything, this is where you kind of guard your goal. You keep your mouth closed. While you're working on the things. You don't need to tell people everything that you're doing clothes. While you're working on the things, you don't need to tell people everything that you're doing right and know where you're supported. So that's even a distraction.
Speaker 8:When you share your stuff out, you share it to the wrong people and then you have folks planting doubts. I only tell my plans or anything like that. I only talk to people who have succeeded in what I'm trying to do. I don't, I'm not going to tell you if you, if you have no track record of success, because you can't help me right. So just being really careful about you, know who you're sharing, your vision and your plans and your goals, allow yourself the time to work through it and then and then what needs to change in our attitudes, right In our perception, because opportunity shows up in so many crazy different ways.
Speaker 8:It doesn't look like you know, we all think it does, so what does opportunity look like? So when you're asking the Lord, open the door for me, and then he sends someone who might not be a friend or might be a foe, or might not be somebody who'd ever taught you know things like that, you have to have an ear for opportunity. So I can smell opportunity coming all the time. I always know when there's like a, there's like a seed of opportunity and as soon as I hear it I'm like, ah, I know what that is and it's not always formed out Right, but that's where you know, that's where you go back to the Lord and you start to.
Speaker 8:You know he starts to show you the potential for this thing and the role that he will play. So just open yourself out, change the mindset for what opportunity looks like, and then we just kind of put our foot to the gas. So I'm going to pause there and just see if you guys have anything else especially, like I said, we're live on the YouTube streets If there's anything you want to share with anyone else who might watch this and just in the form of encouraging, we're running the race together, any form of encouragement that anybody wants to share with those who might be watching, regardless of what season of life they are in.
Speaker 1:So I'll just open it up and whoever wants to speak, you can go ahead um say you know, although you may be on your journey and you may feel like you haven't reached your goals or made the progress you want, do reflect on the opportunities and places where you did maybe stretch yourself and you hadn't even anticipated you would do in 2024. Like I look at some of the things I did and, of course, like a lot of us, it was Shelly pushing us I'm like I have never been on so many live streams, podcasts.
Speaker 1:I've never done a podcast before in my life and I did my first one because of Shelly this year, and so, although that was not part of my vision or a goal I had, I can look over and think, you know, between Shelly and all of you ladies here, that there have been areas that I never would have thought to stretch myself in and as I reflect on it, I know there's going to be something about all of those experiences that will help me along my journey to the goals and the vision that I have. So I say that, all to say, it's just everything is working for what your vision is. Just make sure you reflect on ways you did stretch, even if you're not where you want to be with your goals.
Speaker 8:That's powerful.
Speaker 2:And Tanya, you were so poised and well-spoken and clear and commanding and directive, like you do it all the time.
Speaker 8:Yes, it was fantastic. There's a lot of people still watching that you were talking about. Declare on it's on YouTube. It's on audio streets too.
Speaker 6:There's still a lot of people watching and listening to that show well, one of the things that I think that that we are guilty of and I've I've been guilty of it myself is, you know, when you, when you venture into something new, uh, you suit up right, you put on, you go buy whatever it is you need to buy.
Speaker 6:You know, if I just use skating, think about back in the day when I wanted to learn how to skate, I went and bought the best skates, the best cover on the state, everything right. And let me tell you what I still don't know how to skate. But the thing that you have to remember is it's okay to suit up up, but find that niche in what it is that you really want to do and don't let the the you know, the newness of something that comes into your, into your environment, distract you from what god really wants you to do, because sometimes suiting up is okay, but suiting up also could be that distraction and if you don't peel that layer back, you won't really know how to move forward. So you know, it's it's important that we just take that step back and, and you know, pause and take a couple of deep breaths and figure out. You know, is this of god or is this me just trying to look good and really just going to be standing up against the wall Right.
Speaker 2:Wow, that's good.
Speaker 8:That's good.
Speaker 4:I thought I was the only one who didn't know how to skate.
Speaker 5:What'd you talk about, Girl? I can go. I just can't stop. I always have to have somebody in front of me.
Speaker 1:I try, I can't do it. I can't either. I don't know if I can anymore. I did as a kid, but it's been so long so. I can't tell you if I got out there.
Speaker 8:What would happen? Okay, so we're non-skaters, I feel better.
Speaker 6:And then they came out with the rollerblades. I couldn't do it on four wheels. I didn't try, that's so funny.
Speaker 4:Thank you, audrey, that was so good. I feel so much better now.
Speaker 5:Speaking of, I got a set of rollerblades under my bed that I put on and took back off.
Speaker 2:I wouldn't mind that that's a hard. No, I will add that. I will add two things. Since I did not, since a lot of the stuff that happened to me was not on my vision board, I am going to take a moment. I just decided this to actually make a list and write everything down and maybe even journal about it?
Speaker 2:somebody on this call reminds us to journal all the time. Right, and did you get your 2025 planner? Yet I want to ask you, because it's a certain planner. I remember you getting it at the beginning of this year, uh-oh, what's the name of it? Me, what's the name of your planner that you like?
Speaker 8:Smythson or Smythson I always mess up the name, but this one is actually. It goes from mid-year to mid-year. Okay, yeah. So yeah, this one is actually. It goes from mid-year to mid-year, okay, yep. So yeah, I live in every Monday morning after prayer. Right After prayer, I go in and I write out all the meetings for the week and then there's a note section that are the priorities and my goals for the week.
Speaker 8:And so, because I would have come off a prayer kind of hot, and I'm praying, you know, I'm still praying over it Every week, still up on the mountain, still on the mountain, and then, separately, I have my prayer journal where I only write down encounters or things that I need to remember, and then, obviously, a notebook for work. But I'm still a paper person. I like the um, I like the discipline that it takes because you have to slow down. You can't, you know. So I love that. And then I you know color code of different pens, do your thing. But, yes, definitely get your 2025, um diary or journal, whatever they call it now for for next year. You can go get a nice one like this one, or you can go. These are I call it, these are my investment pieces, but it's a luxury item because my time is worthy. You know, my time is valuable, so every time I open that, that's actually what I'm telling myself. My time is very valuable, so that's why I have a special diary that's awesome.
Speaker 2:The other thing I was gonna say was um, I used to actually like I would have my vision board, but I would have a goal sheet. Oh yeah, and it's great to set out your goals professional, personal, um, financial, and but it's not going to do you any good if it just stays and then you never look back at the city again. So I committed to I don't know if I calendar or calendared it or whatever- but, I think I definitely committed to quarterly.
Speaker 2:It might have been even monthly but I'm pretty sure it was quarterly tracking the progress, actually going in and putting the check mark if I accomplished it, if or when I accomplished it, and also um changing it as necessary yeah, so. I do. I had it electronically just in a word document, yes, and dates and dates. So you would have to adjust those dates. You might do it sooner rather than later, um, but you can write it out whatever works for you, just track your goals. I'm going to do that for 2025.
Speaker 8:That's awesome, all right, anybody else? Before we close, last thoughts on. So I mean, what do you need from us, as a group or individually, to help you get past your next, whatever it is, you know? I mean, obviously, you know you can just reach out and ping any one of us and we're going to talk you off the cliff, or we're going to tell you to get it done, but what do you all feel? Do you feel like you have what you need and it's just a matter of you know following through, doing it?
Speaker 4:I think the word for next year is going to push us into. I think this is pre-reqs right now. Right, it's a grand pre-req season, even with the sugar thing. I think God is getting us in pre-reqs. So once it's time to launch, you don't have the baggage to hold you down for the launch, down for the lunch.
Speaker 4:So for me, I think, the keep continue to have the accountability partners like Miss Tracy and I, you know, have. We have like once a month check ins, just kind of have a talk about the minutes and we just run down, like we're doing tonight, and she tells me what she wants me to pray for her about. I tell her what I need her to extend an agreement with me about, and we just check in like that. So I think that helps you stay aligned. And then, hey, sometimes I'll be like I didn't do it and she'll be like it's okay. So I think that's been helping me. You know what I'm saying. So I think, like Shelly said, us being able to be a listening ear or prayer partner, whatever you want to call it to push you through to this finish line.
Speaker 8:Awesome, awesome, all right Go ahead, ty, I just continue.
Speaker 1:I know we were speaking about individual accountability, but I think continuing having check-ins like this as well are good, because then we come more as a group, more sisters, to just check in with each other all together and say, how are you doing on it? And, like Miki should say, if you don't do it, it's okay, we can keep going. So I don't know if this is something we want to make and think about in 2025, make it a quarterly thing, like hey, this is just all of us coming together to check in with each other and see how you're doing. It's not really to say, oh, you didn't try on your goals, like no, we just want to see how you're doing and do you need any help with your goals?
Speaker 8:I love it, actually. So it was already in the plan for us to do things. The theme for next year is discipline, and we actually have an event, um December 11th of this year, where we're just going to celebrate whatever our goals wherever we met. So that's another um, another layup. So thank you, thank you, tonya, for throwing that out there. Thank you so much, y'all. Y'all. This was really good, and I think, again, you know we're going to reconnect in December, so it gives you a month to work through whatever it is, and it's okay, just do the best you can. And then, whatever we can't do this year, we're going to take it into next year and we'll figure out when the vision party or vision board thingamajig, or whatever we call it discipline party We'll figure out what that is going to be.
Speaker 8:Makisha and I have to work on the schedule of next year's things, not just events, but things that we want to do differently. I think this election has shown me that we do have to show up more for each other, and so that is my intention is to do that. The same communities that I build when I'm on the job are the communities that I want to build outside of the job and I think we need to do all of the things the coaching, the helping, the support, whatever. So Tracy has her hand raised and then we're going to say prayer Go Tracy, go Dr.
Speaker 2:Tracy Before we so actually this morning with Jessica, I actually had in my getting myself together to go outside these doors and be productive in life. Yeah, I had to process what came, what the results of those that election were and what that can potentially mean down the road, and I wanted to be in a good head space, like Santa said, through the day, and part of that was Shelly. I realized and I said this with Jessica the spiritual boot camp you've had us in for 2024 was truly, truly.
Speaker 2:I believe and feel with all my heart preparation for this moment.
Speaker 3:Yes, I totally agree 100%.
Speaker 2:Everybody is not emotionally stable. Yes, everybody is. You know, there are people who have some very serious issues and this news, that news, hit hard this morning. So there's some people that are really going to struggle with making peace with that, with with where we are and and what we are potentially about to experience, and so difference, and this is an opportunity for the people of god to be a light. It's always an opportunity for us to be a light, but even more so, people need our faith, people need to see our light, people need direction and guidance, people need love and grace, and this is a moment for us to lead people to Christ and help them stay centered during this time. This was a shift. This was a shift. We talk about shift in a good way. I felt a shift. I felt a shift. Yeah, this is a shift too. This is a shift too shift too.
Speaker 6:And um the, the preparation we've gone through, mind, body and soul and spirit was for such a time as this.
Speaker 6:Yeah, it is true, I, I decided that I would not watch tv yesterday, like I didn't go on tv, and I mean, I, I watched football on Monday night and that was it. And I was. My mindset was our TVs will not be on tomorrow, meaning Tuesday, because there was too much, there was already too much, too many things that were happening that if you didn't have discernment, it would just it would mess you up mentally. And I, I told my husband and my son, we're not talking about it, we're not watching it, we're no, and that was, and thank god they, they kind of listened to me and we didn't. I didn't. I mean, I got a text this morning and that's how I found out. I didn't even turn on the TV this morning, which I normally don't do anyway, but it was a text that I got. And she was like you didn't know.
Speaker 3:I was like no, because I was deliberate about not getting myself wrapped up in that, because, yeah, because, yeah, for me last night, um I was in a 24-hour prayer with jessica, former church, and um I got off and joined with you guys, miss shelly, yeah, and that really occupied my time in my head, yeah it's keep me, you know, from focusing on what was going on on the television.
Speaker 3:And for today as well, I still haven't watched television. I was told that who won? And I needed to really, really focus on my mental state. Yes, having my son and all that could happen, blah, blah, blah. So I didn't want to have anything. And this really helped me because it really turned my mind from the election itself and the entire thing. I knew somebody was going to win, somebody was going to lose, but I wasn't talking about any of that stuff at all. It was consumed by the Holy Spirit. I'm happy that it helped me out so much this morning, especially walking into my job. No one said a word to me?
Speaker 3:not one word. One said a word to me Not one word. No one said anything. I prayed before I got into the job to let there just be calmness, let there be peace and let everybody come here and do this, what we're doing, and not focus on what happened last night. And it really worked for me. And I'm still on the same. I'm still having the same feeling. I just prayed about it and occupied my mind with god versus you know what was going to happen, and it worked for me yeah, I was able to share some of the stuff that we um shared in the work chat, shelly um yesterday.
Speaker 5:Um, I have a cousin on my dad's side. Her youngest daughter um like just moved out of state from her mom, so I knew she didn't have it and she already will say straight up nope, my head can't deal. I was like, well, here are some of the strategies that we're doing so try one of these, and she was like, so, it's not.
Speaker 5:I said it's not just you, you're fine. Just, yeah, we, we, she, because she's in now, she's in a third state, but yeah, um, we, I just was able to give her some of those and she was able to like pick something and deal with her and she has like a young kid, so she's got a. That's her main energy. Um, so, yeah, it's hard to you know, chase a rambunctious, like five, six year old and and try to not lose your mind at the same time, and it's just you because, like her siblings and her mom and her dad and her stepdad, like she didn't, her whole, like central group, she's away from now. So I was like, yeah, just, I was like you know my phone number, call me if you need to, or call your mama and she'll drive across the country, but if you don't want her to do that, just check in. But yeah, so sorry, lost my mic, but she was. She got through yesterday the same way.
Speaker 5:We did, just not watch TV. I mean, I watch TV, just not actual live TV, like recorded shows or something silly.
Speaker 8:Something different.
Speaker 5:yes, Well, we are.
Speaker 8:I mean, we're chosen for this. You know, before I came on, I was like all right, lord, so what, what? What do you want right now? And he, he showed me, reminded me the Beatitudes, and then it just kept saying remember that y'all are chosen.
Speaker 8:Those of you who are being persecuted are actually chosen. And the perspective I had was that, you know, we always talk about, or at least we know that there's a minority group that truly serves Jesus. And listen, I know I'm going to say it and it's going to sound crazy and y'all on YouTube are going to be like what in the world? But there are, even within now that those are the folks that we are going to be persecuted, and yet he's giving us the grace to do more. So your assignment has has changed, the environment has changed, but you've been prepared for what's coming, so there's no need to be fearful of it, because, I mean, you know what I'm saying. Like you have the cheat code anyway, right? Um, but this is a time where we cannot, we can't, allow the mindset of fear to take over what who's gonna do what, what's gonna happen, who's gonna?
Speaker 8:you know, I'm saying we can't because our, our assignments change and he needs to be able to put us in the marketplace so that people can see chaos is gonna look like a crazy tornado, like a whirlwind, right, and we're gonna be the people that's standing straight, right in the middle of the light. So we can't allow ourselves to be distracted. You know, that's why you got to know how to complete your goals, because that's a part of training you up so you can complete your assignment right. You got to have discipline next year, because if you don't have discipline, you're going to see you have discipline, you're gonna see. You know, you're gonna see the stuff, the wind, change and freak out and then leave your post. I mean, it is all spiritual.
Speaker 8:Everything happens in the spirit or it happens in the natural and it's not. I really was like god. You know, I'm looking at all these huge, uh, these pastors and these believers and all these christians and people who are like whoa. That person too and he's like you know, was never one of mine. So now I'm starting to understand like for months he's been telling me tell them to take care of the poor and the needy, tell them to take care of. Literally. For months and months and months and months our prayer, or Thursday prayer, themes change or everything changed because the assignment changed, right, so don't be fearful, we're on the assignment we still have. It's all his grace. But you know, hey, we're humans. So when things happen, it's okay to feel the feelings. Just don't get, you know, just don't be dragged into it. Don't let that destroy you. Don't do that, because that's not the truth of what's really happening. If you saw in the spirit what was truly happening, you would understand what is truly happening.
Speaker 8:You're on a battlefield. You are armed and geared up. Some of you has swords, some of you the swords in your mouth and your tongue and what you speak right, you know what I'm saying. Some of you have a helmet. It's not the full armor on every day. Sometimes it's your helmet, sometimes it's the shield, sometimes it's the belt, sometimes it's the shoes. So even with the way that we looked at putting on the whole armor of God, that myself, that is a process. It's not. You just go read a scripture, I'm armed, or armored up, and then the minute you go outside, there's a news in you and I can tell people who are like, yeah, you ain't got no armor. Your armor fell Right. So it's just.
Speaker 8:You know, just let him build. He's building you. He's exactly Tracy. He wept, he was angry, he flipped tables, he got tired. It's all. It's the emotion. But he showed us how to deal with the emotion. But what he didn't do was then tell us how to turn that into hate or judgment or all of that. He still wants us to take care of the sick, the widowed right, the people in need. And he's built, he's built. That's why we have strong backbones. That's why people are afraid of strong black women. We got strong, steel, black backbones. And listen, that's just grace. That's all it is. We didn't ask for it, that's what he gave. That's what he gave to us.
Speaker 8:So we'll close with prayer. Lord, we just thank you again for bringing us together. We give you all the glory, all the honor and all the praise. We thank you, lord. We are so filled with joy tonight for what you're going to do in each and every life and family represented. I thank you, god, that you have taken all of our goals and dreams and desires and you've made it your own. So we thank you for blessing us and opening doors for us, lord, god, lord, those of us who need a motivation, those who just needed a reset, lord God, just a community that we could come and talk to and not feel judged or feel ashamed of where we are in our journey.
Speaker 8:We thank you for blessing us. Thank you for your grace and your mercy and your goodness, for giving us your love, lord God, for stopping by and seeing about your daughters tonight, and I pray for anyone who is listening this replay, lord God, that they'll be blessed and, whatever assignment that you gave them, that they'll be motivated and encouraged to finish this thing out. Father, we bless your name and we continue to pray for the healing of our country. We thank you, lord, that you have set us apart. You have marked us for this time, lord God, and we ask for God, that you'll continue to protect us, lord God, protect our children, our spouses and anyone who's connected to us. That there is no untimely death, that there is nothing, no harm, come near our tent. That we are blessed, lord God, and that when people see us, whether they are believers or not, they will see your glory, they will see your grace.
Speaker 8:We thank you, lord God, that everything that the enemy had set up for us is destroyed in the name of Jesus, and it doesn't matter about this earthly government, because we serve your heavenly kingdom, lord God, we realize that we are seated with you in heavenly places and as we take our seat with you, lord Jesus, as we hear your holy name, as we hear you even intercede and pray on our behalf, we thank you as our high priest. We thank you, god, for everything that's going to happen for every woman here tonight. I thank you, lord God, for the witnesses and the testimonies that's going to come out of their lives for years and generations to come, just by them being obedient to the call on their life, lord God, I thank you, lord God, for even waking them up, lord God, with joy in the morning that they are not afraid of what's coming. I thank you for giving them a clear mind and ears to hear, eyes to see, so they don't miss any appointments, they don't miss any blessings, they don't miss any opportunities. I thank you, god, for their families.
Speaker 8:Lord God, I pray that everything that they do is so blessed. It's such a blessing that it blesses and overflow their entire households and community for generations that, no matter what happens in this United States, whether it is a financial loss or anything that goes on, anything that is meant to destroy or disrupt in any way, no harm come near their tent. In the name of Jesus Christ, they're going to come out of the next four years, eight years, 16, 20, and 30 years, just being blessed, just being beacons of blessings, and their families are blessed in such. We thank you, lord God, as we stand in agreement with what your word says that favor surrounds us always as a shield. As it is written, so shall it be. We thank you, lord God. In your name, we pray amen. All right, y'all Amen.
Speaker 2:All right, I'm gonna stop the stream for whoever is on the air.
Speaker 8:Y'all. Thank you so much for joining us tonight. All right, I'm.
